The habitat for humanity store by me doesn't have building stuff, mainly furniture.
... So I just looked at the township where you live on the map. I have driven through there so many times over the last 25+ years..... You have such a large opportunity in the Chi-town outskirts. All along i-80 from Joliet to the Gary, Indiana border.
I'd venture an educated guess that if you mapped where the college's & University's are that your going to find a Habitat within 15-20 miles of most of them.

I live in/near a two University town so it's always had a constant flow of stuff as folks cycle through the town over the years.

The habitat store, with just furniture, is on the west side of joliet...

Vitamin c is good as well for immune system boost
Yep so is garlic and onions too. I've heard there's a higher mortality rate in those with low vitamin D. Makes sense because vitamin D helps prevent the immune system from overreacting. I'm chronically low no matter what I've tried so I'm trying this other kind of supplement because calcium and magnesium and zinc and vitamin E are supposed to be good to help the body use and convert vitamin D3. Again I'm not offering medical advice I recommend anyone do their own research on this kind of stuff first.

Covid really sucks.
Here's what I've been doing (also sorry for rambling on about stuff lol)

At first I was staying busy. Learning French, taking care of the dogs, teaching them tricks, and all the usual stuff. That was the first few weeks. Then I had to get back to school work, as spring break was over. I'm homeschooled so a have quite a lot of free time but I wasn't getting to all the fun things I was doing before. This year I tried my best to get all my school work done and not slack. Anyway, my dad was in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years so all my life we moved to a new house (most of the time a new state too) every year. So, I didn't make a lot of friends growing up, especially since I'm home schooled. Then we moved to Florida 4 1/2 years ago. We went to co-ops and lots of classes until just this last year. In July 2019 we got Rosie. Now, I never saw my friends a whole lot outside of our co-op but then I barely ever saw them. One person moved, one's in public school, one's all ways busy with school work, and one's mom never plans anything or shows up. It's been nearly nine months since I've seen them. So yeah, that sucks. Right before all this Corona stuff was really a big deal we all got sick. Three times. That also sucked. With all this I got quite depressed. I've already dealt with depression but this just made it worsen.
One Saturday our sun room flooded. The day after my dad got stung by a sting ray. That also sucked. My mom took him to the ER. And guess what they did? Put his foot in some warm water. That's it. Didn't check for the barb or anything. And for, what, $60? We ended up having to take him to the hospital after it had gotten infected about a week later. He said that they had it completely sectioned off from Corona Virus victims and every one had their own sanitized waiting room. May 21st was Rosie (my Yorkie's) party. I was going to invite all my friends and all of Rosie's doggy friends but of course with everything I couldn't. I was going to get her lots more stuff lol. I still got her some more bows, an outfit, a new harness and leash, lots of toys, a covered unicorn bed, a 'one' balloon, some chess sausage balls, and some fun party games. Ok maybe that is a lot to some people lol. Any way, now we've been getting back to doing some things. Gotta come out at some point. Things have been opening up again. People have to run their businesses, go to work, and pay their bills and taxes. Still haven't seen many friends. But yeah, that's how I've been if anyone cares lol.

My whole family also got sick twice before all this started. There weren’t tests for it then, but sometimes I wonder if we have already had it.

Anyone worried about the virus causing another lockdown again?

I am seeing that the numbers are rising again in some places and I think it is because people are gathering in large groups thinking its okay to do again. We saw a massive group of kids hanging out yesterday they must have just come back from the river.
Yes, especially in light of all the activity since last weekend and this past week.
I always like it. Growing up hearing it as background on TV & at movies then finding a radio station.... Yeah. Our local is WRR 101.1FM
I grew up listening, but I've also come to appreciate modern composers, especially John Williams. I like Ramin Djawadi too who composed all of the Game of Thrones scores.
Forgot to post these earlier but my chickens were giving me the third degree when I went outside :lau

They wanted OUT and I said NO cause they ate a bunch of my newly planted vegetables yesterday. :lau :barnie

They weren’t having it.

Here’s Sweetpea giving me a lecture. :lau

Yes. You were dressed down quite well. I heard some chicken curse words in there between something about the enclosure and not being allowed in the garden.
Couple of things I didn't quite get because my poultry is a little rusty, but it sounded really bad!.
I'm in isolation. Got tested yesterday. They ask a lot of questions to make sure you're eligible for the test. They need to be careful with test kits...I get it. I have several symptoms..and I'm 66 years old. Waiting for the phone call. I'm doing ok right now.
I'm really hoping it comes back negative for you! :fl

It's okay kiddo. Your head is "on right" so try to begin to see this from the big picture level of, say, the international space station? It's so far up, detached, and isolated yet, in constant communication link with the earth(NASA mainly but, some folks with ham radios too).

I am one of many folks here in BYC-land that will openly admit to the struggles with depression. I a navy veteran (NAS P-cola & JAX, boot camp in Orlando too) too so, you got that sympathy coming from me too.

We have several kiddos. I had shared a good ways back in this or another thread that we had also done both versions of home schooling as well as unschooling when the girls decided they wanted to go back to public school. That being said they were a lot less phazed by the "long spring break" and the rest of the semester then many of their friends. They did the Chromebook route as that's what the school district *thought* was the best way to incorporate the technology for preparing the kids to take the tests for the state.... Butidigress....

Don't sweat the flip-flop as you call it. I am sure several others will chuckle at themselves in this thread as they too have the same "skill"!
