Exactly my thought... I was told I’d die at 22. Guess I shouldn’t have taken the 24/7 iv meds and just died 🤭 I don’t get that type of thinking. My children deserve to have a mother...
Personally? I'm pretty happy you stuck around!!!!! :celebrate

Sometimes a choice is between the lesser of the evils. We need to do what we need to do. No one needs to share their political views, they just need to make sure they're based on sound information ... and do the best they can to make the changes or support the policies they believe are best for all. I'm sorry if that seems political. It's not meant to be ... it's meant to be about personal responsibility and it apples to everything we do, not just voting.
Okay ... stepping down off that soapbox now ... I'm terrified of heights!
I don’t like heights either

I have come so far in almost 11 years. I thought I’d never get married or live again... I couldn’t be so wrong. Life is what you make of it. If you think it sucks, it’s going to.

So many people complain about this lockdown and all I can think about is people who are locked down for the rest of their life but have zero complaints. Not talking about criminals either... some people can’t even leave their homes.

Look at people who complain about their rights, but those who had no rights back in the day just took their lives day by day... zero complaints

I feel like we are a bunch of crybabies sometimes

This is probably unrelated to this thread and I'm sorry about that.
But I don't understand nor can comprehend how many people are on a regular medication (nor the need for Viagra) . No one in my entire family, myself, wife, son and daughter has ever been on a regular medication. I think they call it "practicing" medicine.
If your brain or body does not produce the chemicals you need, it can result in severe depression. If I didn't take medications for my condition, I am sure I would be dead by now. There are many other conditions where daily medications are essential. For example, hypertension, seizures, and a long list of other issues. Be thankful you don't need regular medications yet. It may only be a matter of time before you do.

Okay all ... I'm checking out for a bit. I've got to get bloodwork done (oh. yay. not.) This makes just the 7th time I've been out and about since Jumanji Day - March 13th, the day our schools (and my job) shut down. I know because DD counted them (and gave me a REALLY hard time about my hermitage,,) yesterday. Today is actually a forced one - because yesterday's Dr appt was AFTER the lad closed for the day - so I may not have to count it! (giggles here!)
Actually, I think I'm going to take DD's advice an make this a semi-fun one. We're going to take a scenic drive and stop by our local Amish market for soft-pretzel calzones ... they're AWESOME!
Of course, that's AFTER we drop DS's spare key off a work. He manages a large auction lot, and somehow his own key is lost in the racks of on-the-lot keys. He's had the new car for just over a week ... and he's already lost his key. He will NEVER be able to tease me about mine again!!!!!

Seems you have met my hen Rocks-Ann, she sure is a whiner! (crybaby)

A "seal" is usually a mildly time consuming easy task.
Our close washer has a front loading door and I've changed its door gasket/seal 4-5 times since we got it in 2007/8. Over all I really like it. Inn omparison to the previous toploader that used a "typical" 60/odd gallons per load and this bosch used at Max 23 gallons per load. So that's my tangent for the night......

Hmm. Gonna be googling dishwashers today, I think! And, how to replace a seal.
