I have bantam brahmas they barely eat. The regular sized ones I haven’t seen them eat a ton yet but they’re just 12 weeks old. My broody bantam Brahma maybe weighs a lb. she’s all feathers.

I found a bantam Brahma chick on the coop floor today so I had to bring it inside. I’m not sure who’s it was, but now it’s okay. It was close to dying from being cold. It’s 70+ out but rainy. Hubs says they suck at being moms and DHS should take away their babies 😂
That’s good to know!!! I just assumed they would eat like horses given their size and with the egg production rate, figured it wasn’t worth it 😂🙈

But maybe one day I will try them lol

And :lau OMG!!! 😂🤣

I found one of my quail dead today 😭😭

I lost two of my sultans the past couple days. My hubs thinks that they weren't strong and plus they did not come from our flock. We always seem to lose chicks we get from others but not the ones we hatch. I have no idea why. I do know that 1 of the BCM that just hatched is going to have to be mercy killed because it isn't doing good. I am not sure what exactly is wrong with it, but it is very weak and will not walk. I gave it some water with electrolytes, but it is still not getting any better. Again... Not from our flock.

I didn't lose any quail except for the one I dropped on the floor and the one I had to mercy kill because it wasn't gaining weight and was just blah not doing anything really. The quail I have now are doing great and should be laying any day now.

That’s so sad. 😭

Mine I just found dead this morning but it was stiff already and slightly cool (not cold but not hot either, kinda barely warmish?) so idk when it died. It was fine last night. It was kinda partway under the heater and stretched out so maybe it got trampled or something? Idk. 😭

But this isn’t the first time researchers have identified a blood type link. Preliminary results from a study of 2,173 coronavirus patients in China found that people with type O blood had a lower risk of contracting COVID-19, while people with type A and type AB faced a higher risk. In April, researchers from Columbia University also published preliminary data that came to similar conclusions: People with type O blood were less likely to test positive for COVID-19 and those with type A blood were 33% more likely to test positive for COVID-19

I have type O blood. I see that it says less likely to test positive. I wonder if that means the same thing as less likely to contract infection?
By the way, I was tested Monday and it came back negative.

Do you need the fainting couch!? 😂🤣

I honestly think I do too 😂🤣

Because like I get scared going that fast and slow down right away 😂

Idk why so do it but I DO NOT like going 90s. That’s just too much. It terrifies me and I feel really out of control of the car.

So I’m gonna start going slower. I only do it in open roads though, not congested ones or curvy or anything like that. But still not safe.
Yeah. THAT's right ... only speed on long, lonely open stretches of roadway ... That way, you not only get to go FAST, but you get the added entertainment of rolling your car ... over ... and over ... and over again. Now THAT would be a blast, doncha think? There is a downside to rolling on those long, lonely stretches - it's liable to be a loooooong time before someone comes across the wreck to help you. But that's okay, right? Cuz it probably won't hurt that much as long as you wear your seatbelt.

Are you CRAZY, girlfriend? You are aware that you're a speeder, you claim you don't like the feel of a nearly out-of-control vehicle, yet you continue to do it. There are MUCH better ways of getting a "go-fast-scare-thrill," like ... roller coasters ... or bungee jumping ... or knocking down a wasp nest ... or walking into a classroom full of second-graders the day after Halloween (can you spell "c-a-n-d-y-h-i-g-h?)
Straighten up fly right, Gal ... or at least fly slower!

I was tested Tuesday, as part of my overdue (thanks, Covid!) routine physical. I'm a chronic asthmatic bronchitis sufferer. Even the slightest hint of a cold leaves me hacking. The last time, I nearly ended up in the hospital. As a precaution, I guess, my doctor wants to know if the "non-flu flu" I had back in February could have been this virus. It sounds like she's testing for antibodies, not the actual virus. Are they two different tests? I wish I'd asked. I'll have to do that when the results come back. I have no idea when that will be, but I'm definitely concerned about long-term issues.
Anybody else tired of the limbo, yet? Waiting for the other shoe to drop is wearing me out, that's for sure!
