I don’t think we ever actually read that but maybe!? We did talk about his ride a lot though and learned more than we ever wanted to know about the pilgrims and the revolutionary war.

Hard to describe exactly but they’re kind of romance? At least pride & prejudice is. Not sure about sense & sensibility. Think that ones like about sisters or something. But they’re so much more than that and probably worth the read if you can find them. I really like Shakespeare too and the monte Cristo one haha

The funny part about the story of Paul Revere's Ride is that it didn't happen. I mean, he started out just fine, but got caught by the British before he even hit town. William Dawes and a handful of other men (and a young girl) were the ones who actually spread the word ... but the author of the poem couldn't find enough catchy words and phrases to rhyme with "Dawes," so he commandeered Paul ... and the rest is pseudo-history!
