I'm shocked that there's other people out there that read books besides me, do kids in school read anymore I'm only 36 but I grew up without a cell phone I was on the cusp of being able to grow up human...lol... and shockingly enough I have absolutely no social media nor do I want it anyone I want to know about or wanted to know about me is in the know... I connect with my relatives from Italy over WhatsApp and that's all I need oh, don't need to see what people are eating where they're walking where they're sitting
Oh, yes! Many kids still read. Fewer do, for sure. But I think it has a lot to do with the habits of the family. My kids are voracious readers. My husband and I are readers, too, as were my parents. I think that influence overrides technology.

I don’t have social media either unless BYC counts. I just disconnected from cable (we watch Netflix sometimes). We do puzzles, games, and read a lot. I HAD social media though but I disconnected from it.

Did you hear that libraries are getting books returned that are burned because people are putting them in the microwave trying to kill the virus, they actually are implementing 72-hour pickup times in between people being able to re take out books
I get mine on my kindle through overdrive with our libraries. It’s so simple! Plus I don’t have to go anywhere to get them. Just go on my laptop click a button and.... Voila! Instant book 📖

Hardest part is WAITING for books :caf I’ve been adding randoms suggested by the library to change my reading material... I’m reading vampire books so now the library is suggesting I read about Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers. I figured it was something new. Think it’s called Crack for the Children 😂 random name but it caught my eye.

My best friend rescued a Malinois that was waaaaay too much for his owners. Now that he's getting the proper work and attention, Rocky's an awesome dog ... but I wouldn't want him living at MY house. Heck, if we weren't already so attached, I'd send Crazy Dog back. She's WAY too high maintenance. My Border Collie mix was wonderful (RIP my sweet Tag) high energy, but trainable. Crazy Dog has just enough BC to make her smart, but not enough to make her truly intelligent. She's as smart as a whip, but has absolutely ZERO common sense. She's driving me NUTS!

I’m glad he found your friend!!! I feel much the same... they seem like AWESOME dogs and I love their devotion to their handler and how they’ll go to the moon and back if you asked them to, etc. but I know that even though I love training and working with dogs, I probably couldn’t handle one :lau or wouldn’t want to even if I could haha so I won’t.

And how old is she? Maybe she just needs to work out some of the puppy crazies! Haha

She’s adorable!!

I’m assuming you probably already know this so sorry for butting in but have you tried more mental stimulation stuff with her? For some dogs that’s more important than physical exercise
