I hope your friend is okay!

She said she'd been fatigued and had a sore throat for the past week or so, but no fever or anything else. Her son is in law enforcement so has to continue to work, but has been running errands for her when he can and bringing groceries and other household goods so she and her husband can shelter at home.

The governor of California has issued a statewide stay-at-home order... I'm still going to get feed when I need it though.

Getting feed, groceries, prescriptions, gas, etc. are all valid reasons for going out. I read Santa Clara county's shelter-in-place instructions last night (great choice of late night reading eh?)

Yes, I was just reading that essential activities are okay like groceries, doctor visits, things like that. My side of the family lives there. While my husband’s side lives in GA which is where we’re at. So I’m keeping up with both states.

Well, last small gathering for a while done. Honestly, with G working grocery it's really a matter of when we get infected not if. Not sure how I'm gonna handle the next month with noone to look forward to, tbh. My mental health thrives on company.

And man, if the governor ordered me to get tested and stay indoors if I had a persistent cough I would need to be tested every two weeks and never get to leave home. I have a persistent cough from allergies through most of the winter. Chances are real that it could hide corona which is why I've been taking my temp daily. No substantial changes thus far.

Yrs ago when Frozen first came out never forget my girls getting mad as heck when I played them spoof songs of Frozen, super funny one's, my little girls didn't think it was funny. Now they are showing me and laughing about spoof vids of Frozen ..., having to do with Covid and needing to poop and no tp, in a song... They are funny, you'll have to look them up yourself cause I can't post them during a pandemic...
But I do feel this one is appropriate;

UPDATE: The State of Hawaii had 10 more cases (Oahu, 8 & Maui, 2), bringing the State total to 26. No reports of "community" spread, all are "travel" related.

my mind is blown that now they are taking advantage of this to restrict the sales of firearms and also something about the concealed weapons & open carry states.... like I'm not going to carry during a crisis, do I have "STUPID" across my forehead? Don't answer that....

Less than a week ago some rolls of TP on ebay were actively selling for $7/roll. It's all nonsense of course. Some of them are getting hit with scalping charges. But it's a joke in any case. I bet it's the worst TP you can find.

Still it's a novel source that isn't sold out.
