Draconian as that would be.
The answer, as you note, are reducing birth rates. People don't have to be killed if people would slow their roll.

I cannot speak for the entire world but the Chinese Communists have done a good job of murdering young girls in the wombs of their Mother's as has the Margaret Sanger/Planned Parenthood Organization in murdering young black babies in their Mother's womb here in the US.
Pretty disgusting if you ask me.

Speaking of the truth. For this Covid thread, I want to interject some numbers.
We've had pandemics throughout human history and as humans spread around the planet, infectious diseases have been our constant companion. Some have been more virulent, pervasive and deadly than others. However, in recent years, say the last 50, global communication and advances in healthcare have made most less deadly and more short lived.
Rapid response to ebola, MERS and SARS helped to control them.

This one is pretty deadly. The difference is the response to it.
There have been about 20 major deadly pandemics since 1 AD.
Now the global death total is over 600k. That death toll has surpassed the SARS, MERS, ebola, yellow fever and swine flu. Yesterday, it surpassed the 18th century great plagues.
By the end of this year it will leapfrog over the total death count from the Japanese smallpox epidemic of 735 AD, the cholera outbreak from 1817-1923, the Hong Kong flu of 1968-1970, the Russian flu of 1889 and the Asian flu of 1957. Those all killed approximately 1 million people worldwide, At this rate, we'll be there before the end of the year.
The next milestone would be the 17th century great plagues that killed 3 million.
To like truth, not the reality that's my logic here as always.

Hmmm, I just saw a far right wing commercial the other day parroting some of those exact same talking points.

Australia was almost Covid free, when some stupid idiots decided that they could go to a family gathering even though they were sick. Now the rest of Australia is almost covid free, but my state, Victoria is in full lockdown again. I’m back to online school, literally logging on right now, and I can’t go to my friends farm to drop off my little Cockerel or to pick up the chicks this spring. No one is allowed to visit homes anymore, except your partner. Just shows how a few stupid people can kill hundreds.

Ooh I love eggnog and would adore using it as creamer in the winter, but how do you avoid the slightly eggy slimey taste when you put it in coffee? Do you dilute it at all or put it in not hot coffee (or just use better quality eggnog than store bought, lol)?

I like sauteing squash with garlic thyme butter and onions!
My favorite coffee creamer eggnog is the "Southern Comfort" flavor (it's non-alcoholic, dag!) that comes in a cardboard carton in the milk-cooler. WalMart carries it, but so do many of my local (Maryland) grocery stores. It's not slimy or "eggy" at all. It's also good in a milkshake!

Ooh I'll have to try it, thank you! I had been using Horizon brand or a local brand which, while fantastic on their own (I like to heat mine up for a bit, add some additional nutmeg, and stir with a cinnamon stick if I'm feeling fancy), are on the eggy side which makes it a bit weird for coffee creamer.
I'm hoping to try making eggnog from scratch once it gets colder. Have you seen George Washington's Eggnog recipe?

Probably, but I'm too lazy ... and a bit too leery ... of homemade eggnog. I got burned pretty badly by it as a youngster and been afraid to try it again, ever since. With enough coffee ... or rum ... or both ... store-bought works for me. It's not nearly as frothy, but at least it doesn't make me sick!
