Ours isn’t producing very much :( maybe it’s still early. Planted it pretty late so it took a long time growing the foliage to size haha Although now it’s starting the rot thing a tiny bit before we even get any 😭
Is the rot on the plant or on tiny little zucchini starts?
If it's the fruits, that's not unusual when it's getting going because often the fruit flowers bloom first before the pollinating flowers get going. It should straighten out quickly enough.

If it's the plant you could have a squash vine borer. Little grub that eats the plant from the inside out. Treatable though if you can find the entrance hole for the grub.

I'm curious;

In areas where tax payer funded schools are not opening, is anyone seeing a decrease in property taxes or school budgets?
We don’t know yet. My kids have to pay registration fees for some classes because of the equipment. My oldest is also taking drivers ed... I’m interested to see how this all works out.

I had some blue powdered looking bugs... I burned them all. They were on the zucchini

We were discussing this the other day on another thread and one person said they had it at a friends house and it was delicious, however did not know ahead of time it was zucchini. When she tried to make it, she thought it was just ok.
I've contemplated making mock apple crumble but my brain keeps saying...no. It will taste like zucchini.
If you try it let us know how it turns out!
The secret to "mock apple anything" is in the spices and not over-cooking the zukes. Think "al-dente." Go ahead and try the crumble. If it turns out tasting like zukes, freeze it and feed it to your chickens. They'll love the cold summer treat and the cinnamon is good for them!

@MROO or @SnapdragonQ or whoever... What is this plant it was growing out of our compost pile? So I put it in a kiddie pool with a bunch of compost, soil, and shavings.

There are also purple potato starts in there
