I woke up to the Mayor of Los Angeles on the news telling he had ordered a "stay at home" policy in LA.

Actually it's the entire state of CA - they're "shelter in place" now.

I feed cat feed to my meat chickens the ending weeks because it has high orotet

Dear god I read that as "cat meat." 😦

The organic/heirloom seed company I work through has recently had a HUGE influx of really big orders and is having trouble fulfilling them.

And then they'll get the seeds and realize it'll take at least a month to see results, sigh. It's not a lot but I still have kale and collards from last year that I haven't yet purged, so at least I'm good on greens for at least another month while spring stuff grows in.

Not everyone who appears to be sick IS sick. I have bad allergies that cause me to break out in hives. I have a runny nose, a sinus headache and a cough because I'm limiting my medication. Why? Because some jackass bought all of it and I can't get more so I've had to ask my dr for a prescription, that I'm still waiting for. I get attention because people think I'm sick. There are tons of people testing positive for Covid19 that have been completely asymptomatic.
We have extra medication on hand at all times for emergencies. If I was just a normal person that got allergies once a year I probably would not have medication on hand... Since I am not a normal person my doctor has prepared me to be ready for all emergencies. He's a very good doctor.

I can't stand that people are buying large quantities of stuff that they truly do not need. They are leaving nothing for those who truly need it... When all the hand sanitizer went out of stock I was quite pissed because I had just run out and I had to do a sterile dressing change on myself, I cannot do it without antibacterial soap and hand sanitizer. It got to the point where I had to spray rubbing alcohol on my hands because that's all we had... Ridiculous

My husband got sent home from work one day a couple weeks ago because he had sinus issues and they told him they didn't need his sickness there. He left happily because he understands the caution people are taking with everything because of Covid 19.

When I went to go pick up my insulin needles at the pharmacy there was a woman coughing all over everybody... I don't care why she was coughing, a two year old knows how to cover their mouth but the 60 year old didn't 😡 She coughed all over the pharmacist that was on the other side of the counter. I found it quite disrespectful.

Mine quit ringing when DD calls. Lord knows why.
Yesterday my phone had zero service but my tablet had service... They are both on the same network so I don't understand.

I was going to order take out pizza last night but I couldn't even order it. I know I could have called on my phone, but my phone wasn't doing phone calls either 🙄

Thank goodness it's working today because we wanted to have take out pizza and game night tonight.

Hahaha cat meat... Nope I don't feed cats to my chickens 😂 thanks for the laugh.

The organic/heirloom seed company I work through has recently had a HUGE influx of really big orders and is having trouble fulfilling them. It's been so many that their website is having trouble handling the sheer number of people on it. They're asking people to reach out by phone instead. They're also saying shipping orders is going to take extra long due to new sanitation policies.

Our local TSC has been pushing buy online pick up in store a lot.
We always do pick up orders with our tractor supply because it's so much easier. They have the order ready you just walk in they scan the barcode and you leave... Quick and easy.

My husband has been working non-stop and only getting a few breaks because they work in the house building industry selling material. It's been non stop customers in the door... They have asked all of their customers to call in their orders and have no more than one person picking up the orders because they don't want high traffic walking through the door. They don't allow the customers to come within 6 ft of them either.

Their boss and customers have been buying them food for lunch because they have been really working hard. a lot of the builders in the area are trying to get their houses closed so that people can move in. The mortgage rate has gone down incredibly So now it is a good time for people to buy... Unfortunately I'm not sure how many people are willing to buy it this time.

I think the goal right now is to slow it down from infecting people and spread it out more-the spikes are hard to treat with equipment we don't have.
Pretty much the United States is tapped out for ventilators they don't have very many. I think that they just want to control how many people are going to the hospitals with this virus so that they have more equipment to help these people.

From my understanding... People are basically fine one second with symptoms and needing a ventilator the next. My doctor is working in the ICU right now and they are starting to run out of equipment.
