Got a call from the hospital saying they had me set for the surgery tomorrow...what? I told her I hadn't heard from the Dr for a prescription..she says, you were to eat bananas and come back in for lab work, if it looks good then they will do it. Ummm...no. Going with the Anesthesiologist. She said she would have the surgeon Call me. Ok. I'll let him know I have an appt this Friday.

We're gonna be watching older movies for halloween though. We have a tradition of watching The Lost Skeleton of Kadavra on halloween. XD
. I called the hospital last night to make sure I wasn't on their list for surgery. I wasn't as far as she could tell. 
Hospital nurse and then... surgeon. I told him I called the hospital. We had a talk about all he had done..talked with a cardiologist, sent a message to my Dr..which by the way I haven't met yet since my other has retired ..just recent. They all thought I would be fine. Anyway, he agrees now I need to see him, get my BP meds regulated. I've lost some weight .. probably need to go back with what I was on before..it got changed as my weight went up. I don't need that now it's back down. Poor doc, I didn't want to be dubious but at the same time I had to let him know a few things he didn't hear me explain to the anesthesiologist. After that, he's going...ooohhh....so, he says to come in the office today and he'll do two shots for me, to help get me comfortable until surgery. I just hope that crazy vasovagal doesn't happen again! No fun..last shot on shoulder. 2020! Extra crazy for me this year. Sorry, I realize I'm not the only one!
So here's the latest October surprise...
So the funeral is planned for this Friday at the Ok church and we'll, likely a mini-super-spreader event with all that no-masking, no social distancing that I know for a fact because to church was live streaming sunday's for the last few months on FB-land and yeah.... So..... Just found out this AM that our eldest daughter is covid positive... This means that my Better-half and the other girls are now going to get tested and they have to quarantine her in one roommof the lake house.... and Now, not sure:
a) how she's going to get to come up and vote.
B) when we will know their test results Friday/Saturday of this week?
C) now they can't come home for at least untill after veterans day (oh not fun)
D) what does this do for the burial at the Dallas Nat'l cemetery??? No clue yet...
E) now with my damaged lungs... I have to be extra, extra careful between now and when they are "safe" to return home......
