"Not sure we've communicated well enough that social distancing interventions will pay dividends in 1-3 weeks. Anything that happens in the next 10 days was already baked in prior to that. A surge in cases now would NOT mean that social distancing isn't working."

UPDATE: The State of Hawaii had 10 more cases (Oahu, 8 & Maui, 2), bringing the State total to 26. No reports of "community" spread, all are "travel" related.

UPDATED: State of Hawaii has 11 more cases, total 37 ... Oahu 10 & Kauai 1 ... Travel related, now tracking whereabouts. People just don't get it

Every day we are seeing the results of what happened 7 to 10 days ago. Next week will reveal what's happening this week.

I know this sounds stupid of me but I stopped looking up how bad it is in VA and the US. I'm just texting my family making sure they're okay.

I'm going to look for my Will too so that it's ready just in case.

I am sooooooo happy! My friend who's been stranded in France is coming home. They had previously thought they were better off staying there than getting into one of those horror show things that happened in the travel clearance quarters of O'Hare. But, apparently, the State Dept has come up with some ruling that unless they return soon they may be stuck there 12-18 months. So they're coming back. ...and they may be coming to stay with me as they've rented their own home and it won't be vacated until June or July.
