It was, along with CHiP's, Emergency 51, Muppet show, Happy Day's, & PBS Nova specials were what I recall as the "after dinner" & "before bedtime" week night shows back in K-6th years of the 70's.

There is another user on here that I recall banter with them about M*A*S*H specifically and "she" talked of how they got the dvd set of the entire history and watched it with there kids a couple episodes a night --- all the way thru....
Don't remember if they bought it new or checked it out from library or a recycled books store....

That's was not the only TV show we talked about either.....

(Thinks aloud)"I'd bet the search function will find it as I wrote the title here as it did back then....." Hmmmmm
....[edit: Found it! Was in a private convo. They got the entire set as a present. There story was cute how they made it family time and stretches out over several years watching all 11 seasons.

I gotta admit i'm itchin' to see the original movie. I never got to see it all the way through.]
That was me - my Mom bought the whole set used off eBay. She got it for next to nothing, but the time spent with my daughter and the discussions it triggered were priceless. She could have spent ten times more and it would still have been worth it!

The original was good, but the series definitely developed the characters more deeply. If I remember correctly, the only movie actor to return for the series was Gary Burghoff - aka Radar. Cool side note - about 20 years ago, my Mom & Step-Dad met the "real" Radar (the one who inspired the character) in a doctor's waiting room. It was pretty cool!

More soaps today. Pink this time. I was aiming for rose quartz but hit more like Pink Himalayan sea salt. The bases aren't as well incorporated either. Still nice tho.

Just to sneak in here...I think the “Fake bird” conspiracy takes the cake!
I personally love the fake bird conspiracy. When my partner and I are out driving, see a flock of birds on a power line, I say something like "ah yes the govt drones are charging their batteries" and he wonders why he has stuck with me all this time (I'm sure)

Cool Beans!
Do you have a mold for those or.....?

I do not. These are hand carved and one of a kind. :)

Some good news - G is out of quarantine!!!!! AAAaaaaand! He got an offer for a new job offer with a medical equipment sales company he's been trying to get a job with since before the pandemic. They shut down hiring at the start of the pandemic but they recently started the process again and gave him a job offer. This is a big deal because it's a solid 8K+ more than he's currently making per year with real benefits. Plus it gets him out of the public, which means less COVID exposure AND less working with the public, which like, is great. No more watching someone get escorted out of work screaming by armed security for being maskless for no reason any more.

D will still be working there. But at least we got one person out, and that's good!

Plus I get to hug G again! Yay! I missed that a lot. ;O;

The bad news is he's discovered he's really easily winded. Despite his symptoms being no worse than his every day allergies it's become clear that his lungs were still effected and that's going to be a bit of a trip to recover from. Before he got the job offer he asked work for an extra week of PTO and it was granted, not sure if that's going to be hazard pay or come out of his PTO not but it could be.
