Still waiting for my test results. One day..that's all! With the not smelling things right, and barely any taste. Today.. every thing is back to normal. My kids say, this happens for some, one day of a symptom or symptoms and then none the next. Not sure what that was. I'm guessing I'm negative. 🤷.

Nice you didn’t get sick.
Many (young) people whith Covid are not really sick or just sick for one day. If these people don’t stay isolated at home they do spread the virus.

Please wait for the result of the test before acting on you’re guess.

And best wishes for all of you who got sick of the virus. Hope you will get better very soon.

In my country the hospitals are full but the numbers started to decrease. We have a lock down for another 3 weeks. Vaccinations for corona personal + emergency care + first aid medics were last week. This week they start with the people and staff in nursing homes and nurses who visit elderly/sick at home.

Something like that happened to me 2 days before I lost it completely and it's been 39 days without it. It was a Sunday morning I woke for work and realized I didn't smell or taste the toothpaste. I went and smelled a candle and nothing. A couple hours later my smell and taste returned. Then Tuesday morning I woke up the same but it has not returned. I tested positive that day with a quick test.

I think it's a flexible concept. 95% is when my doctor starts trying to impress on me that I need to take things seriously. But then I, like MROO, have a long history of asthma and bronchitis and also trouble identifying difficulty until I get into bigger trouble.

On a different note, my daughter got her second vaccine injection. She said that one was rough. Lots of soreness in her arm and a day in bed with flu-like symptoms (be aware; do it anyway!) but now she's far safer than she's been for the last year.

Can't tell you how relieved we all are and how grateful that she got through this awful year without getting infected or bringing infection home to her family.

Fingers crossed that those vaccines will get rolled out into the public!
:love - That's for your daughter, both because she made it through that rough second dose and for sticking it out as a front-liner. I'm sure you tell her that she's awesome on a regular basis, but tell her again for us, will you please?

And "yup" on the numbers. My doctor told me to "worry at 95" and to contact her if I ever hit 92-93 again> Then she added that, if I ever wait until I break 90 again, she will personally send flying monkeys to drag me to the hospital ... kicking and screaming, if necessary. It's almost worth trying, just for the special effects ... almost, but definitely not quite!

Well. Got tested today. I went ahead and went in for a med check. While there asked the doctor.. So, is not smelling things the right way a sign..and also, I can taste, but barely. Then I told him that our grandson that lives with us now, 2 years old is all, has been very sick. He hurried and wrote things down, says, yes, you should be tested. Everyone is different. Especially where you have someone sick in the house. He's young, but they can carry. I'm different anyway! Serious. With all I've been through with other tests..MRI on brain, neck x-ray, nerve test on arms. All coming from a neurologist office last month. Trying to figure out my ..ahem...woozy head. It's been going on for a long time. No one can figure me out. Won't go into all of the details. Anyway, doing the waiting game..again. I don't think I have the virus.
:fl Let's HOPE not, but to be honest, you sound right on track with the symptoms. That woozy head is a lulu. It was like I was constantly stepping on and off of escalators. The whole floor moved! :fl

electrycmonk, you sound FAR more resourceful than I am. Besides, I don't imagine we'll be in this house more than another couple years. Someone else can download the codes when they're their laundry machines. :lau

But thanks. The right person probably could have saved a lot of money and time based on your advice.
Monk saved my dishwasher and the cost of several service calls!

I'm hoping you are, too ... but that's how my symptoms progressed ... Still crossing my fingers for you!

About O2 levels with the oximeter; if you are breathing harder/ faster than normal to keep that level up, it's not really a 'normal' O2 level. 90% that takes extra effort to achieve is still a problem!
Mary
Yeah O2 levels can be really misleading.. it's about the effort it takes, if a doctor is saying oh you're fine your O2 levels are high enough, but you're sitting there struggling to breathe, you need another doctor.
