Thankfully I did hear today that foreclosures and evictions will be suspended for a while.

You like a bit of tragedy for your entertainment then.![]()
You could have made cheese or yogurt!@Wee Farmer Sarah @sourland No idea why people gotta, honestly. Quarantine and taking care of poor people can happen at the same time if our government chooses to do so. Some efforts were being made. The new UBI turned into a "tax refund" and no longer goes to poor people. But it could have or still could if we write people to ask that it does. But stocks are more important to some people. My household does have stocks (one of the only people who know who does), we're under no illusions about the morality of the money we make from it. We'd rather see our families live than keep a single cent.
There's alternatives. It's not a zero sum game. Some people are just well convinced that it is.
Maybe puppies will make us all feel better when these sorts of people come out.![]()

@IamRainey
Thanks! XD I have been doing that all week though! But I really need to breed some bunnies today. I like to do it on the weekends. We're a week behind on it. :O Over the weekend I also need to get my squash planted. Those be our summer rations...!
The new animal crossing came out. I have something to occupy me if I get bored during quarantine now. >) Doesn't help me keep track of what day it is... But it does give me something to look forward to every day, long-term. D has the new DOOM game. It's nice to switch up peacefully planting flowers and decorating ones house with smashing in the skulls of hellspawn with a chainsaw.
Locally, all cafe starbucks are now closed. My BFF works at one and brought me TWO GALLONS of milk from there. What am I going to do with it all!? We've stuck them in the freezer the way my mom used to do when milk was on sale. I'm grateful for my chest freezer right now, but I knew we'd need it some day which is why we bought it when we moved in.
When this is all over I'm going to throw the biggest darn StPatrick'sEasterMemorialFourthofJuly party ever!!![]()
I grew up Italian with Aunts and Uncles who raised kids through the depression. As a kid, "around the block" was too far to walk. After blizzards, we rode horseback for essentials - like diapers for a neighbor's baby. As a result of both, I don't feel "safe" without a stash. I didn't even have to buy TP! The only thing I've gone out for has been meds - and I'm good on those, now, too. I'ma stayin' PUT!
