I got to get my raised boxes built for the garden, then order a few yards of "garden blend".
People posting here are doing a great job , IMO. Lots of interesting stuff and good ideas.

My dr's appt this week is a time allotted on line with her. Beats going to her office . My dr.'s appt last week was an empty waiting room because everyone had to wait in their car for their call.

Anyone else getting sick of this lockdown

I am "ok". If it's not for the snow it is because we have puppies/young dogs here so I have been stuck home mostly for almost 2 years.

Currently we have a 2.5 year old dog, a 2 year old dog, 1.5 year old dog, a 7 month old dog and in 8 weeks pending catastrophic lock down another puppy. No I did not choose this as how my life would be. No I do not enjoy being stuck home with dogs 24/7.
Just the 2.5 year old is my fault.

If we get fully locked down and I have to put up with nonstop car shows at high volume....someone may not survive....and it won't be directly because of a virus.

Oh....um yeah I guess I AM rather sick of the lockdown.

My apologies for the mini rant. It has been 5 hours of nonstop car shows today....and counting. Plus it is cold, wet, muddy, gross outside.

I guess people who don't have pre-existing conditions don't really get why it really sucks for us that do. I feel like a prisoner in my own damn life right now! everyone in my life has to tell me no about going anywhere because if I get it I'll basically die... That's the facts.

I wanted to go to TSC to get seeds. NOPE. I'm not allowed so I sat there and cried because I feel like a damn prisoner. I've been in lockdown for over a month because my Dr told me to. He wants me safe...

you might try ordering your Walmart pick up at midnight. They seem to release the next day at midnight. I found out last night.

They aren’t doing that at any of the Walmart’s around here.

here in upstate NY we are hoping the "downstaters" stay in their homes and not transfer up to weekend or summer homes here. We cannot handle a medical crisis. Hoping for calm heads and blessings.

We are 3.5-4hrs from the city. All the stores and gas stations have been packed with them for a week now. We see them memorial, J 4th, labor, and deer season but this is way more prob 2-3x more.
Had milk truck drivers yesterday that travel 17 by Deposit to get to our plant say the highway was packed with people coming up with campers and RVs where they going to stay no campsites open. Was 20* the last few nights, supposed to get six-nine snow tonight, doesn't sound like very good camping weather.

I am seriously tempted to load up the bator right now, im getting around 100 eggs a week and they are selling instantly with people on order, ive even had enquiries to buy my POLs (Not bad for a flock 0f 20 backyard pets).
Part of me wants to prepare and part of me hopes this will just all blow over relatively quickly, chicken is impossible to get hold of because of panic buyers so meat birds are suddenly a big option as well.

Yeah, over half our retirement fund is gone from the stock market crash. My husband finally stopped telling me how many thousand we are are losing daily. He knows I have anxiety and depression. Everyone says, oh well, it will come back. Maybe, but who knows when?

After my first glimpse a week ago, I REFUSE to look at my stock portfolio. I was counting on it to buyout my house. Not anymore ...

DD swears that the best camping weather is when he has to worry about his eggs freezing while still in the cooler! If he could get away with it, he'd be living at the Boy Scout camp for the duration. Come to think of it ... that's not such a bad idea!
