Toys?! Oh Id totally have tried harder. The only reason Ive read so many books is because if you read so many you got a free personal pan at Pizza Hut. My mom hated Pizza Hut so we only went there if I had a "book it" coupon.The middle schoolers, yes. The elementaries got toys. He doesn't go to that school now he's in hs. They may be passing out vapes at this level, who knows.We've got him in a Christian academy now. They are making him knuckle down more.
They did that at my brother’s school. He has Asperger’s and read pretty much 24/7 so they quit doing the program because he read too much
My Kid is also on the spectrum and reads a lot. Good thing too, there's not much else for him to do where we live. One year I think he read 200 books and the next kid had read maybe 20.
