So sorry this happened to you. Were you able to find permanent lodging? I feel for those less than fortunate like yourself because Ive been there. Now I donate once a month to my local pantry because I know what its like to be poor
Thank you, I was housed but the apartment has a lot of problems such a damp and mould and it was n atrocity when I moved in so I have been in the complaints process trying to get the HA to move us instead of going to court over it.

Not going to spam pictures and go into detail with the problems here but it’s bad and I keep finding more broken things covered in tape and just left. I didn’t want to complain before for fear of seeming ungrateful but the landlord has broken the law.

I am going to try to claim back the cost of all the dehumidifiers and mould removal. We have to be hyper vigilant with cleaning. I have air purifiers running and drawer dehumidifiers in with the animals at all times.
There are a couple of things it means.

A.) From a strictly science perspective, medicines that have been used for worms would need to go through clinical trials to confirm that they can be used to fight infections from viruses. Right now, people using medicines like doxycycline, ivermectin, and hydroxycloroquine to treat viral infections like CoVID-19 are doing so based on limited evidence of the medicines directly stopping the virus.

B.) From a risk perspective, the illnesses for which drugs like hydroxycloroquine, ivermectin, and doxyclyine are prescribed can result in organ damage. In situations like this, the risk of injury from the medicine are considered either less likely or less serious than certain infection with these parasites. Any eyesight damage or organ damage that may come from these medicines is considered less risky than the effects of the parasite infection.

C.) Following B, we have vastly better prescription-only medicines for stopping anti-inflammatory responses here state-side.
I know what you’re saying about balancing the risk of harm for the drug vs the harm of the untreated condition but hang on are you saying those drugs treat illnesses that cause organs damage or cause it, because those are two different things. We already know doctors prescribe those drugs off label for viral infections and it works. It’s not rocket science to work out appropriate dosage either.

Everyone eats a peck of dirt in their lives. The bacteria that live in dirt and water usually are not much trouble, it's MOSTLY the ones that come from other humans that give us grief.

I also don't mean to derail the thread too much. I'll shush for the next few moments. ;)
I’ve always been of the opinion that it’s arrogant and hypocritical for humans to call any other animal vermin!

Even with all our medicines, vaccines and biosecurity measures we still constantly spread disease. We shouldn’t have needed COVID to teach us basic hygiene like hand washing and not coughing all over people/covering your face if you are sick etc. Flu existed before this particular coronavirus (not the first one or that special really apart from coming out of a lab) and that still kills people also. But it’s like some people have only just figured out what germs are and only NOW consider the fact that they could potentially make others sick. Some employers have only just realised that if you are sick maybe you should stay home.

Honestly, a tapered steroid dose, if it's safe for him as an individual to take, would work a LOT better. He's not taking ivermectin prophylactially (just in case when you aren't sick yet) is he? Because if he was, that would be just downright silly.
The last time I took steroids I had a completely physical and mental breakdown, but I suppose that’s why you said if it’s safe for him as an individual. I have never felt as completely messed up in every system of my body and suicidal as I did on Prednisone. Injections also made my pain 10 times worse.

https://nypost.com/2021/12/13/color...ares-covid-19-emergency-over-despite-omicron/

"Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, a Democrat, declared in a new interview that the COVID-19 emergency is “over” and that he won’t be implementing another statewide mask mandate in response to the spread of the omicron variant, explaining that if people aren’t vaccinated at this point it’s their “own darn fault” if they get sick."

Any drug that specifies “for livestock only” is meant to be used for livestock only. Not people.
Better not take aspirin, then.

Two of many choices, unflavored or flavored. It comes in apple flavored paste also.
