They sell bidet seats now. No need for a whole other fixture! Costco had some a year or two back.I've heard that too - including the part about people trying toilet paper when it became available and returning to corncobs by preference. Not sure where - someone I knew in person's family member, I think.

My if-it--comes-to-it plan was to cut up a few of my flour-sack type towels and wash them afterwards like cloth diapers. We haven't come close to that, though. We were still using the inventory backlog due to downsizing from a family of seven in the house to a family of two in the house.
It would be much more practical than trying to install a bidet in a bathroom with no possible space for it or space to expand the bathroom.
