I am trying to get SSD. Iwas told I had to go to their doctors. I checked the box I would go but could not wear a mask and the reason why with physician note. I was told today I could not see their doctors without the mask. They will put my application on hold until everything goes back to normal.WHAT!? There seems to be nothing I can do about it either.:hitI don't know how I'm going to make it. I don't know what to do.
Why cant you go to your own doctor? Why does it have to be theirs?

I do not understand why, if you have a documented medical reason not to wear a mask, that doctor's offices and other businesses are not able to make a reasonable accommodation. Even like coming in at the end of the day after all other patients....then the office would have time to "air out" before patients come back in the next day. Or have you take a rapid test before coming in, etc... Seems like if they really cared they'd be able to do help somehow. I am so sorry you are going through this.

The ER suggested a vent at 90 percent BOL and they refused it.
Given, from what I understand, going on a ventilator is the last gasp (sorry) effort and often the patient dies anyway, O2 at home seems a reasonable choice.

I am so glad he is at home. I would rather pass at home if I have a choice.
Me too.

I only leave my yard 2xs a month. Because it is a government office these are the rules. Hmmm I can't be considered for disability because of my disability !?

That sounds really tough. I’m sorry.

I am so sorry. That isn’t right. My DH has a new dr. They are refusing to see him unless he gets the booster. They say it is to protect the dr. I think it is BS

He hasnt dipped below 90 percent O2 level from my understanding so a vent wasnt necessary. Stuff doesnt start to hit the fan until about 85 percent
