What they neglect to tell you is that your resistance drops for 2 weeks after a jab.
I'm not giving medical advice but if her fever rises to 103, and you don't give Tylenol or Ibuprophen, I would start giving cool baths. Don't let her stay above 103, I would head to the ER. (That's too hot for an adult.) I would go anyway if she doesn't turn around in a day or two or starts having breathing problems. Get a second opinion if need be.
(What shot is she getting if I may be so nosey?)

Thanks
Yeah been an emt, fire fighter all that jazz. I told to keep an eye on it and if it goes any over 103 we going to the er. I said I'm serious too brain cells start dying at 103.5 or that is what I was taught in basic class pretty sure it was 103.5

That's what I heard and DW concurs.

WOW. I have seen that happen and it's counter intuitive. After a "walk test" (to see if someone qualifies for home O2), the SpO2 rises when you think it would have fallen.
Good luck. Take care yourself first. Let us know how it's going when you can.
You know it’s worrisome when the MD on BYC replies in all caps :lau:

Feeling like I’ve got pneumonia of some sort- coughing, feeling like I’m drowning, anxiety, impending doom feeling. Going to the doctor tomorrow morning at 8. Blood oxygen won’t go above 94 when I’m resting, only goes up when I walk. Monitoring it throughout tonight to make sure I don’t need to get to the ER. Doc said anything below 90% is a trip to the ER . Luckily I live with family that can take me if needed.
Does your back hurt? One of the signs

I experienced some mild congestion (with yellow sputum), chills, and lethargy for 1-2 weeks, but didn't get tested and I wonder if it was a mild omicron infection. I didn't have much of a runny nose or sore throat though. I wish the free at-home testing kits had been made available earlier.

Don’t we all.
