Not quite sure censoring is the only reason for a 404 Notice. I've gotten that notice for things that there should be no reason it should be censored. I've even gotten it on sales website where an item is no longer for sale.

Right, but remember, when I switched search engines, I returned to those same links and they weren't censored.

It's important to be aware of such.
I thought that people who thought we didn't land on the moon were nuts, and I enjoyed reading the sites claiming that we didn't.
Then those sites started disappearing, which made me begin to wonder why.

I have had that happen.... but when I cleared the cache and history of the first browser and restarted the computer, the villages website was available.

Didn't clear anything, but supposedly the Brave browser on privacy settings accepts very few cookies.

I was using Brave browser and Brave search. When I shifted to Ecosia, all the 404's went away. I still use Brave but I will jump ship when something better comes along.

Never heard of Ecosia. I hope something better actually does come along

Basically the search engine was saying that there was no entry because it was censoring the results.

If you're using Brave search, it gives you some tabs halfway down the page to retry using a few different engines.
