I tried the ivermectin and it didn't help or hurt. However it was old. I may get some fresh and try it again.I can't answer this. I am almost 70 years old and have never been to a doctor. I can only say that when symptoms get really bad, ivermectin has helped. I experience sudden severe breathing problems, fatigue, brain fog, heart racing which I never had before covid. When my legs start shaking so bad that I can't hardly stand anymore, I take the ivermectin and am usually good for another month or so. (I'm not a big fan of medicines either) I usually don't tell people about not going to doctors, most react so negatively. Saying this now because this site (among a few more) is where I found the info to help. Maybe my info will help someone else.
I go to the dentist 2x a year and eye dr once a year because of macular degeneration running in the family.
2012 I had a checkup before I retired.
Where I retired from has a yearly blood work for free, I get that.
I called the dr when I got COVID and they said stay away or go to emergency room if o2 below 90. I decided I would rather stay home and try to take care of the poultry.
After a couple years I went to the DR about long covid and that was a total waste of energy. I'll go back if they ever figure out what to do about LC.
