I like the Cornish, and dh really likes the meat from the cornish so long term my plan to raise and butcher the Brahma Roos May not entirely work, but we’ll see. I’m also hoping it will be a little less work that way...hahaha
Right now the best place I have this year for my brooder IS IN THE BEDROOM and the chicks I picked up yesterday are more than a week old (oops didn’t read that part of the ad in my mad scramble to secure new layers!).
So at midnight last night I found myself with chicks all over the bed, poor dogs didn’t know what to do, the cat bolted in a panic because he knows very well to leave MY birds alone, so a quick trim of a few little flight feathers and they’re staying put...for now!

Like less eating out, more home cooked meals, or barely anything but healthy on the shelves so you have to?

Mostly we're just not eating out. I try to make healthy meals regardless. Low on carbs, lots of fresh vegetables. All the canned and frozen veg were gone and I don't care for them anyway so that's no biggie.
