France: More than 50% of the people in intensive care (severe pneumonia) are under 60.

Spain in lockdown. Madrid’s level of infestations went up with 1500 in 24 hours. Nobody is allowed on the streets anymore for social activities.

Italy: doctors are warning all countries to take more action on precautions.

COVID's in my state, with the most cases being in my county. School is closing for two weeks and while it's pretty exciting it is getting a little worrying. But the fridge's full of food and our chickens are happy, so what gives?

Well, my good friend Cap said at the beginning of the thread not to make this political. In light of the slant of the posts, including my own, and the fact that writing political columns is how I made my living, I‘m having a hard time resisting temptation! So I think the prudent thing for me to do is just slide on out and leave you folks to duke it out.

I really feel sad that you are more concerned about the economy staying strong than peoples lives. Did you hear a newborn baby tested positive for Covid-19 in the UK? And people under 50 have died from it as well. Where’s your humanity? It’s not all about us old folks, this virus does not discriminate. Do you have a plan when you get it? Stay healthy.
