According to "The Experts," it's an all-too-human reaction to feeling out of control. The stack of white rolls makes us feel like we have a little control when there isn't any. We see the same thing around here for snow ... ANY amount of snow ...Will somebody, anybody, PLEASE tell me why people are hoarding toilet paper. I can see piling up foodstuffs. I do the same thing because I don't like to shop so I do so as seldom as possible. But why toilet paper? I have seen carts piled to the brim with rolls of toilet paper, bottles of water, and paper towels but very little in the way of food. When I went to the grocery store a few days ago, the paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies were all but gone but there was plenty of foods of all kinds. I an hoping someone can explain it to me. I don't get it.
