The last two days have been a little rough because the weather was too bad to spend any time outside. It’s really hard to see how this pandemic nightmare will ever go away. But I know things will look better tomorrow. Good thing I have a good supply of bacon. 🙂

We've had rain all week and green/grey skies with torrential rain all day yesterday and half of today. Sooooo not SoCal weather! The combo with the prospect of Covid and stay-at-home orders is particularly tough just now.

I think your bacon thought is an excellent one! I hope it brings you some well-deserved pleasure and that tomorrow brings you sunny skies! 🌷 🌻 🥀 🌹

I figure I would've shown signs by now with how sick I was recently. I just have to be cautious of my family. Told them to do Easter without us and to enjoy it.

My youngest is scared I'm sick, I told him I'm fine and he has to behave and I'll see him soon. He's my mini me.

Sending you some virtual chocolate eggs. We're just skipping any pretense of Easter so I've got plenty to send your way.

Happily, my grandson is 9 and past the Easter Bunny thing at this point so he won't miss it.

I hope your quiet family Easter is pleasant, tho, and I hope you can FaceTime (or whatever) with your extended family so it seems like a celebration. :bun

Yeah probably. :lau I just thought it was what I was “supposed” to do. And like everybody was wearing them haha a couple people weren’t but most were.

Los Angeles and several SoCal counties and other parts of the state have made them mandatory now. Riverside County near us has imposed a $1000 fine per day for not wearing one.

The strategy is I-protect-you-you-protect-me.

I have not caught up on all of the posts, but let me tell you about my day in the life of a health care worker.....

I went to work this morning and found out our hospital has been hacked, they are asking for a ransome in order to get our computers back! Are you friggin kidding me!!!
Then I go to get my husband's meds and find out they only have 3 of the blood pressure pills he needs. They are on back order as are any of the comparable ones. His blood pressure is high even on these pills, so what's going to happen when he doesn't have them???

Let's not stop there, we got an acute patient this morning, which means we have admitted them for observation. Well we feed them both breakfast and lunch on normal trays and then find out they are a potential covid patient!!!! WTH!!! If we would have known that everything would have been sent down on paper.

The last day of 2019 said "hold my beer." "Watch this 2020!". I'm not holding it's beer anymore, I'm drinking it all!

What's the deal with the meals being served on plastic versus paper?
