they're nice looking. You're gonna use them as breeders?
Yeah just to make barnyard mixes with my flock. I actually have their brothers eggs in my incubator now because my friend has 2 as well from the same person. They're quite hilarious. My hens have been bossing them around all day 😂 I didn't quarantine them because I know where they come from and we've swapped chickens before.

Nice!
I've never quarantined and never had any problems. But to each their own

I kinda see it as if you need to quarantine maybe what you actually need is a different source lol
Yes! I deal with friends so they wouldn't sell me sick birds. Most of my chickens are from their fertile eggs that they usually hand to me to see what the offspring looks like.

The eggs that I have right now and my incubator from my friend are deathlayer and golden comet cross.

I'm having crying spells from sheltering in place - I live alone. Too bad I got over having agoraphobia for the best years of my life., now that I need it.

I'm racing towards 73,if I were fortunate enough to find a male friend at this age, he probably would be unable to do anything. :sick major time. Women can enjoy - - - forever. This is making me regret all the men I "fixed" in my younger years, who were so grateful they ran off and demonstrated with other women. I have a right to be crabby, a POX on them.

I'm sorry! I think it's terribly hard on those who are used to going out. I think maybe you should drive around or walk some interesting streets. As for companionship, I had a between time of husbands for 7 years. And I got really good at being my own best friend. I know you don't see this but my chickens are my saving grace. They even like me in my pajamas and messy slept on hair.
Any man can take some pills and be "happy" .
Those ex-men. They have made a poor choice and have regretted it but can't verbalize it.

Yeah exactly!! So I feel like it’s processed foods in general not exclusively sugar but idk.

And thanks! That’s helpful! Though not sure I wanna go on a diet the rest of my life  :th

I’d rather just try to eat healthier.

But I do think my calories will be way reduced anyway if I just switch to regular meal times and cooking instead of just all the snacking I do. :lau

See? you're already on your way!

I will do anything for my TP.

that's sad I hope she feels better, How many people have died at the rehabilitation homes because of the virus, that you know of?

Our place is all clay too and use to take forever to dry out. Before I moved in Someone farmed my property so the soil must have been workable at one point. I asked a local farmer to come out and look at it and he just so happened to remember where the original drain tile was ran. I went out and ran some new tile right next to the old stuff and problem fixed. It's interesting how much better well drained clay can grow plants.

If you want you can post some pictures of your place I might be able to tell if it's worth getting someone out there to see if it can be tiled. If it was once agriculture then most likely it can be drained.

I built some raised beds for the finicky plants and had someone come out and deliver top soil.

It's probably just this technology were dealing with. :thumbsup

I went there and solved the problem . I'm a dirt snob and it will take some more compost to be up to my standards, :barnie I saw the actual garden mix that they sell and it's just like mine. Oh well.

I took my shavings from my coop in the fall and put it in the above ground boxes and put clay on top. I would mix it a few times a week. Now I have nice garden soil. My plants are growing amazingly right now.
