But... but.... raw beef is dangerous tooThere is no such thing as beef too rare for me. Chicken and pork, that's gotta be cooked.

Especially from McDonalds.

I agreeHere's an interesting article from Scientific American about the potential for habitat destruction to make pandemics more frequent.

I've always contended that overpopulation is our biggest threat.
There's a couple of usI'm the odd ball out in this Corona virus lockdown. My life literally hasn't changed in the least. Since my boys all moved out of the house, I shop once a week. We are 30+ miles one way from town. So our town trips include Costco, Walmart, sprouts, the feed store & home depot. Once a month throw tractor supply in for a load of shavings. All my friends are having melt downs because they can't go do anything. They ask me how I cope with being home 24/7. I ask them how they can't! I am much happier to stay on the ranch with the animals than be in town around people. I think that is the country girl in me. I was raised in a barn, never been one for crowds or shopping. Unless it's a tack store...![]()
I've been eating raw beef for over 50 years and never got sick doing it.But... but.... raw beef is dangerous too![]()

You’re gonna dieeeeeee!!!! All the germs get mixed to the center with ground meat!!
Burger is the one thing I WILL cook to death lol
Btw my brother eats extremely raw burgers too.
That's what the virus is trying to sort out though isn't it. We've killed off all the big predators so now the little ones are having a go.Here's an interesting article from Scientific American about the potential for habitat destruction to make pandemics more frequent.

Maybe your stomach built up a tolerance to the germs.I've been eating raw beef for over 50 years and never got sick doing it.

Is this to the raw burger part or the fact that I cook mine?

The only thing that has changed for me is the fitness center I would go to a couple times a week in the winter or bad weather closed.
I usually go to the grocery store once a month anyway.... so I went 2x in March before the lockdown. Once the garden starts producing I will not go until winter
When I was young, my family when broke, would eat hamburger for a week. Now i eat hamburger for a week, and i'm broke!I want to shop where you shop!!!!
London broil here is $6-7 a pound and ground beef (the cheap stuff) is $3.50 a pound.
