There where some things that got my attention I like to share with you.
1 In an article of the most reliable Dutch newspaper they say hospitals have to deal too much with misinformed people. There is a lot of info on the internet that is not true.
In an interview hospital receptionist says its a real problem, having to explain all the time when people need hospital care. And why the people with mild symptoms and sick relatives are not tested.

2 there is a shortage of protection for medics. They can’t buy enough new goods. So now they tried to disinfect them. There are already reasonable results and re-use wil be a good second best alternative.

3 I’ve been looking to a lecture of a university doctor. With slides/tables/graphics of what is happening. Unfortunately the lecture was in Dutch and its not very recent. But nevertheless it gave me some new insights. I posted some slides who are in English an Italian. Some things he said where new to me:
  • Much more men than women are getting ill of Corona.
  • Old and healthy people have a good chance to survive. Even the ones over 90.
  • Death rate of the people who got serious pneumonia is significant lower in Italy as it was in Wuhan.
  • You need hospital care asap you get problems with breathing. If you get oxygen right away, chances are low you have to go to ICU.

And he gave some good advice.
- After you come home from work or shopping. Leave youre bag and phone at the door. Go wash you’re hands for 20 sec and get a cloth to steralize youre phone.
- Wash you're hands too before eating fruit, making a meal. And dont touch youre mouth, eyes or nose.
The virus does not go through you’re skin.

@Kizmet
Its very weird to see what is happening in the stores in the US.
Here we only have minor problems with keeping food and hygiene stuff in stock.

My daughter is a high school senior, this year. She has worked so very, very hard to get where she is - all honors classes, Marching Band, Sports, the whole nine yards. The Class of 2020 is facing the likelihood of no prom, no senior trip, no hanging out with their friends for these last, few, precious weeks.
Spring Athletics are all but cancelled. There will be no calling out of Seniors' names at the last game of the season, no Pomp and Circumstance played by the band as they march across the stage to publicly receive that piece of paper they worked so hard to earn. No mass tossing of mortarboards into the air while the stadium erupts in applause. It absolutely breaks my heart. I can deal with getting sick now, if it means that this will pass quickly and my daughter gets to enjoy her last days of young freedom. She's worked hard. She's a great kid. She deserves all the bells and whistles. They all do.

I know just how you feel, The same is happening for my DD. The trip to Italy was cancelled as we as prom and school is closed till at least April 6th, we have no clue weather or not there there will be a graduation. She is very upset. It breaks my heart.

They sent my youngest home from school until they re-evaluate what to do next. She is also a senior and we just got her prom dress last week. She is worried now that she may not even get to use it. And as far as shortages go, if people consumed products at a normal rate instead of stocking up on stuff like toilet paper, then everyone would have plenty, but you have folks that would buy a bunch of TP and try to sell it for 5 dollars a roll during times like this. I think we could all handle this a little better but it is easy to be scared when it is all that anyone talks about. Good luck to all of you folks and I will be praying for all of you as well as my family....No offence to those who don't want me to mention praying...

I'm old and it's no longer an issue for me but those things that stop periods from happening scare me. They set every alarm bell I have ringing. Female bodies are NOT supposed to work that way! It just seems to me there have to be consequences with tampering so fundamentally with normal body functions. ...and inconvenient as they may be, periods are normal body functions.
That's one of the genuine benefits to getting older. We can wear white pants whenever we want! ;)

May God bless you, too, BigBlueHen53, and keep you and your family safe.

Thank you, @Sapphire Sebright . We live pretty isolated and DH works in an office with only about a dozen people, and has an office to himself where he does not interact with the public at all. This is in a very small town of maybe 300 people or so. We are very boring people, lol, which at this point is a real blessing. We already don't get out much! I'm sure we'll be fine and I wish the best for all our BYC friends and family ❤
