70 cases in total here in Ireland. Went up 27 today.

In the Netherlands they counted approx. 600. But more people got infected because a lot of people don't get really sick (just like a cold). They are often not tested. Family of positive tested people are not tested because the lab’s don’t have enough capacity to test.

The disease spreads fast because people infect others before they get sick or are infectious without clear symptoms.

hi guys!!
Here from Italy :frow:frow
i'm in a quiet zone, for now, no truly red zone, few cases. but we're all at home and we did some extra food shopping. Most of stores are closed and even schools. Crowds are forbidden with very strong fines and even complaint... in less words, we strongly should to stay at home.
At the moment i've not a direct experience of this virus..let's hope :fl:fl:fl:fl:fl:fl

Yeah, all the grade schools around here have closed for 2 weeks. Colleges are now doing online classes and public events are canceled. Employers of many companies are asking employees to work from home.
I have to go to the post office tomorrow and I'm questioning whether or not to wear a mask.. am i being too paranoid? You know how many people are there and it's always elbow to elbow!!

Trust, there won't be a lot of people there.

I told my hubby now would be a great time to go see all the tourist attractions, everything's so empty it's actually safer to be there than other places. But he still has to work, office or no office, so there goes that plan.

I mean we've been living with it on our doorstep for over 2 weeks now. Everyone who is planning to barricade themselves in already has, so now it's just everyone else going about some semblance of an every day life.

Why are so many people stacking toilet paper?
I’ve been reading most people get a kind of flew with sneezing, coughing and fever. Didn't hear you can get diarrhoea from this Covid-19.
So imo mainly tissues and paracetamol are a good thing to stack. And of course soap or disinfectant to prevent contamination by hand to mouth contact.

Not going to say where the TP stockpile started but yeah people are panic shopping for all the wrong things. Thankfully I had a grandfather who lived through the great depression and he taught me to stock up and have a supply of food to get me through.

There are about 9 cases in a nearby county from our town. My hubby works a couple part-time evenings at a big box home improvement store and just texted me that a pallet of TP was empty in just 20 minutes and that 2 men almost came to blows over cases of bottled water.
