Managed to get back to France yesterday before a complete shut down between UK and France. Now have to stay home and if I do go out I have to carry a form with me stating why I am out, where I live and how old I am, even going for a walk, if I don't have this the police will fine us. At least we won't starve with the girls keeping the egg production line going, although they need to speed up as one egg between the four of them is not going to go very far between hubby and me😂😂. Thank goodness the next ten days are sunny and warm to kick start them😊

Sock bandit strikes again... This is how I keep myself entertained. This monster steals everything. Everyone should have a puppy during this lockdown.

Oh Good Heavens What a DOLL!
We don't have a sock bandit, we have a re-recycler. She likes to make sure all of the cans in the recycling, especially the "special diet" cat food cans, don't make the house smell badly. Apparently, it's her job to make sure all of the smell is removed before they go outside... even the ones that we rinse, first. Now, if we could only teach her how to put them BACK when she's done!
I'm grateful that our cats no longer feel the need to protect us from the "vicious attack toilet paper." There was a time in the not-too-distant past when all rolls were fair game to our cats. We must have been in grave danger, as the cats were diligent about subduing it before it had a chance to take anyone out, for good. Who knew?

Ohhh, I wouldn't have written the above if I was you. You'll have people round your house after your cats blaming them for the toilet paper shortage.:lau

I have ducklings scheduled to ship the 30th from Cackle. I was worried too so called the PO yesterday. They said that so far for them it is business as usual.

I would call your supplier as well as the PO in your area.

Personally.....I won't be going to the feed stores to get babies this year. It is a going out and about thing that is not necessary.
FINALLY! A legitimate excuse for me to stay out of TSC during Chick Days!
(I will NOT show this to my children!!! ;) )

Nah! My kitties have done a fine job of subduing the dreaded TP threat and have since moved on to other unseen enemies. Apparently, the crickets in the basement are plotting an uprising, so the focus is currently down the basement stairs.
The Dog, however, has a more immediate concern on the upper levels of our home ... something to do with the "Oooo Shinies!" on the ceiling. She erupts into manic barking every time a shadow flickers over her head, scaring the living daylights out of anyone in the room. As if my nerves weren't already shot over this virus mess, right?

I'm not sure I would agree those networks are unbiased. In fact I'd disagree adamantly.
Chicken on my friend!
Like I mentioned in my previous post, you can go to the website provided by your own state for legitimate information. No need to force your personal preference or bias on others. I haven’t checked it out yet but I’m sure the Department of Homeland Security has up to date reliable information on it. I think it is more productive to put personal negativity aside and get the facts from something more than Facebook rants.

Our coon hound is a bit overly obsessed with my parrots in the bird room lately.
No harm intended or attempted she just wants to sit and stare at the birds. I feel relatively certain they find it disconcerting.

I plan to put the duck brooder in there so that should be "fun".

Ignore the title of this clip, it obviously goes both ways. I just think it's funny.

Corporations and big money control/regulate the news and the government. Certain companies write stories for most news stations to broadcast and others literally write legislation and sell it to legislators everywhere (look into ALEC, I'm sure there are others). Every station except BBC/NPR/PBS is owned by some person/corporation with some sort of an agenda, usually pro-corporate-establishment.

If you watched any of the BBC's coverage of Jeremy Corbyn, your illusions about them being nonbiased should have been shattered. They did that whole, "Some say Jeremy Corbyn is racist," when they were the ones saying it. That kind of thing.

If you mean to say they are unbiased in coverage of this virus, maybe? There will undoubtably be pro-pharmaceutical (the industry pays every station millions/billions for ads, which to me are just another form of bribery... cover us the way we want and we'll buy ads from you...)

I like NPR. However, it would be silly to say they are totally unbiased. I've been disappointed in their coverage of most elections. They do have a bit more variety of opinion/originality of programming and less sensationalism than television news, in my opinion.

I'm not trying to poop on anyone's preferred source of news, I'm saying take everything with a grain of salt. Looking up people unedited on youtube is a great way to get an uneditorialized view of what's happening. I can't believe I'm about to recommend Joe Rogan again, but his podcasts can be surprisingly educational. They are long form conversations, and he isn't afraid to ask stupid questions.
