I'm going to start small with just the front porch. If it can brighten one person's day or make them smile, it will be well worth the effort.

Ya, things are pretty crazy here. We're in day 3 of our 21 day "shelter in place". I don't know about the 60% number... if that's 60% all at once, or over the space of years. I'm kinda just expecting most people will get it at some point, but the key is really to "flatten the curve" so the hospitals don't get overrun. My GF's BFF is a nurse in an emergency room in San Diego and said they are already maxed out... and I doubt we're even close to the peak of concurrent infections / problems.

Yeah, I surprised my my husband with a trip to BIG SUR and CARMEL in May for our 25th anniversary, Not sure this is going to happen at this point... I was suppose to visit my BFF who now lives in the Eastbay at the same time. SO DISAPPOINTED

And if you need hand soap and can't find any if you can find a foaming pump dispenser you can mix 1 to 2 tablespoons of Castile soap with one cup of water and you can add coconut oil which is an antibacterial tea tree oil which is an antifungal and anti-bacterial and lemon oil which is a disinfectant. Those are things that might be more available at times like this. I keep it premade around my house because that's what I use for hand soap because it's actually cheaper that way and it doesn't break my hands out. Two more bonuses

Grandson is supposed to graduate from Chapman U. in May, and we were scheduled to come out and spend some time in Ca. That most likely will not be happening.

I hate that this is Political nonsense- it's making things worse. I do appreciate seeing a number of scientists etc. being on TV every day. Listening to them is far better than any media person. I want unadulterated information. I like that the top disease people in the country are on TV every day. I want these less educated media people quoting the experts word for word-not " he said she said". It's unfair for any media person to not stick to the facts that come out of an expert's mouth. A crisis is not the time to do anything but that.
