I've been seeing the Christmas lights thing around for a few days now.
Thankfully I don't live close enough to the road for it to matter...so in reality I can blame that for being the stooge that I am and Not wanting a higher electric bill in order to have lights.
Bah humbug....and no guilt to boot!

Yeah, I surprised my my husband with a trip to BIG SUR and CARMEL in May for our 25th anniversary, Not sure this is going to happen at this point... I was suppose to visit my BFF who now lives in the Eastbay at the same time. SO DISAPPOINTED

Soooooo disappointed for you both. Big Sur is spectacular and Carmel is about as charming as things get. And then there's the 17 Mile Drive. ...but another time!

I’m still working (veterinary clinic), but we are taking precautions.

How is your clinic handling it? My sister in law said hers is having clients drop their dogs off in the parking lot, they bring the dog in, do their exams or whatnot, and then put the dog back in the parking lot for pick up. Then they have to call the client with diagnosis or instructions.

My husband wanted to take me to Sweden for our anniversary this year (I wanted to stay home with the animals ). But that's completely off the table now. Maybe I'll just cook Swedish food for a week and count that as a trip.

I'd like to say no school shootings here because we all have backup, but as parents we always have fear, keeping the youngins safe .
