Lol 2 diabetics in the house here so I think it is more meat than noodle.
No meat in the stores and little veggies in there is terrifying for the diabetics.

Yeah I was just talking about people that eat lower carb. My mom started keto so she's bummed because there's not much in the stores she can have.

I just had a chocolate chip muffin

But I am having a real dinner too. I’m making Spanish rice and black beans.

Was just going to make the beans and have beans and a muffin for dinner cause I didn’t feel like making rice but then I read the directions on the rice and realized how easy it was and that it didn’t take as long as I thought (20-25 mins, some take an hour), so decided to just make it and not be lazy

So now I’m going to watch NCIS while I wait.

Anyone still planning to sew masks?

I've learned 2 things. The children's size masks work best with a 6" elastic strap. And all masks are better if they have a different fabric on each side. That way the medical personnel using them are clear about which side is safe next to their faces.

If you use clips, I've also found that it helps to set them up this way so you can sew it all the way around without having to move them before the braid is securely in place.

My husband didn't like leftovers overs until we started dating. He loves my food.

I used to take hubby's leftovers when we were dating. I was thrilled, as I was in my last year of college at the time and having free food heaped on me was a godsend.

Truth is you have many more cases than anyone in any state is aware of. You can only get tested in CT with a prescription or if you are already in the hospital and come down with symptoms. They are not admitting people because they have symptoms and you can’t get a prescription unless you are on chemo, or on immune suppressants due to a recent transplant, so they only cases that they are confirming as positive are those who are tested under that strict criteria. And those are the cases that are announced on the news. There are many more cases in your area. They are doing phone evaluations with the rest of the people that don’t fall into that category and diagnosing yes or no over the phone and then asking those that have all of the symptoms to self quarentine. That is why they are saying this is much more serious an outbreak than people realize. I was “phone diagnosed” and have been sick, it will be 2 weeks tomorrow.

Iceland tested everyone in a city. The alarming thing is that fully half of the people who tested positive had no symptoms of the disease. They could be spreading it but have no idea they were infected. I am sure that is the case here and everywhere else.

I ordered an N95 mask from Amazon on March 14th ( because my employer can't provide me with one!!! ) It's been sitting in Chicago since March 18th I took this week off a long time ago because this is "spring break" for my daughter, hope it arrives before I have to go back to work next week.

Wonder what is up with that. I've got a shipment of oxine stuck in Minneapolis with FedEx giving no reason why or when it will get sent this way.
