One of my roosters is substantially bigger than my hens, but he has like ten ladies to himself so nobody has been injured. He actually gets along better with my smaller hens.

I used to have a bantam rooster who was tinier than everyone else... it was HILARIOUS to watch him try to mate with hens double his size. He had to get a running start. I let one of my broody hens sit on a bunch of different hens' eggs, and only the egg from my smallest hen hatched. So he was successful at least once!
I think 'squatch weighs probably 10 lbs or more at this point. Most of my hens are standards... I do have a few pullets from his brother though and they're almost laying eggs... They aren't technically brothers from the same hatch, they just came together that's why I say brothers 😂

See the white chickens sitting on the branch pile... Those are jersey giant cross pullets. They're HUGE. They're only about 19 weeks. They're bigger than my standard hens already.

Squatch is peeking on the right-hand side...

A person I know who contracted cv19 said it started as a tickle in the back of his throat, then coughing/headache have you been isolating? If not and you think you may have it please stay home.
I think that everyone should isolate no matter if they are sick or not. It will keep everyone healthy at this point.

Send any unwanted pasta to me. My chickens love spagetti :D
mine too! but it just so happened that not long ago I bought several boxes of outdated whole grain pasta from a close out store for the chooks. Also picked up extra feed "just in case" at the same time so the feather loafers are all set even for their treats.
