Market Basket of course. They have their own warehouses and distributors. Don’t waste your time with Stop and Shop or Hannafords. A total waste. And no customer service.

Thanks! Good to know!! I love Market Basket but do usually go to Stop & Shop just because it’s literally right down the street (along with Big Y, formerly Hannafords) but may need to start making the trip down to Market Basket! It’s not that far, only maybe 10 minutes or less depending on speed. And it’s worth it because everything is so cheap yet way better quality. :love

I love their dinners too!! I get the meatloaf one a lot lol such a good deal!!

And since they have their own warehouse they have a better control over the stock. Also, employee oriented and great customer service. And they are still cleaning their stores.

Either separate them, or at least separate the ones you don't plan on keeping. Try one or two of your favorites with the flock, or only one, and see how it goes. If they weigh enough, it's freezer time!

I would be outside pounding T-posts in the ground to make a pen right dang now.

I have zero tolerance for nasty behavior. Your girls need you to separate them.

They are in a separate coop and run but free range together. We have almost 3 acres (though they only use maybe an acre) and it’s never been a problem before but I’m thinking maybe they won’t be allowed to free range together anymore.

I was hoping that moving them to a bigger coop and run and giving them a bachelor pad would help too but I think I might just eat or rehome some ASAP.

Not sure if they are big enough yet but I think so.

The boys seem very interested in the egg songs today.

Food Lion in VA I thought sucked until this whole thing happened. They have everything in stock usually. Walmart... Has nothing

Very true! I didn’t realize they had their own warehouse. And yes, their employees definitely seem happy!!

From my neighborhood feed:

I heard some advice on the radio last night, it said to have inner peace, that we should always finish things we start, and we all could use more calm in our lives. I have just looked through my house to find things that I'd started and hadn't finished, so I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Whisky, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of wum, tha mainder of Valiumun srciptuns, an a box a chocletz. Yu haf no idr how feckin fablus I feel rite now. Sned this to all who need inner piss. An telum u luvum. And two al bee hapee wilst in de instalation. i luvurall forrreva!!

Makes sense but was horrific to see. With her laying there and them standing over/around her pecking at her and not letting her up. I swear they were trying to kill her but maybe they were trying to mate? No mounting going on yet though. Just pecking. But I did later see the EE run after a girl that sang the egg song then he got scared and ran away. But seemed like he wanted to mate/knew the egg song meant something but didn’t know what to do yet so maybe that is what happened with the other girl too? But she wasn’t singing I don’t think. They just chose her, possibly because she was the only one around, and chased her down. They are getting on my last nerves. I might end up just keeping the Lavender Orpington.
They can, but usually don't, kill or tear up a hen.
I process at 16 weeks or when they are causing problems. It's easier when they are causing problems

That’s good to know, thank you! Probably looks worse than it is? And yes, definitely easier now!! Lol before I was like “there’s no way I could possibly kill them!!” But now I’m ready to wring all of their necks right now :lau
