I read something yesterday that N Carolina is requesting emergency help from FEMA for their morgues. I was like wut? So I looked it up and NC has had... ready?... 2 deaths! Huh? Something's not right.

Sounds like certain states are stirring up the fearmongering by declaring emergencies so they can get their hands on federal funds. What do these states have in common (LOL)?

I feel as though I have a lot to be thankful for. I’m an avid gardener and have been for years. I have always got my seeds early out of excitement to plant in the Spring. I have my chickens and am well stocked with food. I’m fortunate to have a property large enough to sit outside and get fresh air.
Love this! I'm glad a lot of us can get out and enjoy the nice outdoors.

I think if you really need something, get it now. The situation is only going to get worse as more people become infected. I went out yesterday, and people seemed to be acting like it's business as usual. Groups of people standing around talking to each other. A line of people waiting for prescriptions, about a foot or 2 away from each other. Only 2 people besides me had masks on. I think that's crazy risky. Even a cotton scarf would be better than nothing. I actually felt offended when people got too close to me. I had the staff put my receipts in the bag. I don't want to touch anything I don't have to. And I paid with my credit card, so I didn't have to handle money.

They're actually doing what normal people do every day: live their lives based on assessed risks. 80% of people hardly get sick or even know it. Those are pretty good odds. If they could play Vegas or the lottery with those same odds they'd be filthy, filthy rich.

Sounds like somebody didn't plan too well.
NOBODY planned. This was entirely unexpected and the whole country, heck, the whole world, was unprepared for this. Not at all the nurses faults.

OK, well if you come across some stories, I'd like to see them. I like to make a distinction between fearmongering hysteria (of which there is an abundance right now) and facts on the ground. It's good for my mental health.
There’s tons of stories all around the country directly from nurses, doctors, EMTs, etc., themselves if you bothered to look it or or pay attention. I hardly think it’s “fearmongering hysteria” to state that we were unprepared for this and are in desperate need of PPE. It’s simply the truth.

That's why I'm doing pick up. I'm not walking Inna store because I will speak my mind about people back up away from me.

I'm the person who used to go to bars as the DD and had some men hit on me and thought they were going to leave with me. I don't mess around with people getting too close... If you aren't my family get out of my bubble!

You can't order something out of stock, It has to be in stock when you order. If it's not in stock when they start filling your order then they'll get you a substitution.
Oh darn!! Haha
You find out about your substitutions before you even pick up because they send you a list and you cannot change your order after 1:45 a.m. the morning of pick up
I might try this sometime. Though usually I don’t know what I want till I’m in there.

There are certain things that I don't like to substitute like my vegan stuff that I don't want to get something with dairy in it so I make sure those are never substituted, but with meat, cheese, snacks, and anything else usually I substitute it and we always get something better.

One time I got the small package of sliced cheese and they gave me one that was so big I swear it lasted a month 😂 and that was us feeding some to the dogs 😂 It was ridiculous

One time I got a smaller mouthwash and they gave me a huge one and I just finished it and it lasted 3 months 😂 they always give you something bigger and better
That is good, but you still have to pay the bigger price don’t you?

I saw a 3D model of an infected person's lungs made by a doctor. The normal part of the lung was blue, and the infected part where cells were dying was yellow. The yellow parts were over most of both lungs! Normally with pneumonia or other respiratory problems, only a part of the lungs is involved. This is a nasty bug folks!
