I dislike store bought veggies because garden fresh always taste better.
Definitely. Most difficult thing for me and I have to force myself to buy one on rare occasions is tomatoes. I bet I consume a few hundred pounds of fresh garden tomatoes every yr myself. Store bought one's even vine ripe and organic, can't compare.

Store tomatoes are so :sick 🤢🤢🤢:sick

I never really liked tomatoes until I started growing my own.

Our younger one's are getting packets every couple weeks. Older one is online. And late stuff essays and such she is just taking pictures and sending to teacher.
For families with out internet (I have my doubts if there is any and if so minimal) the teachers will make work packets for them.
Just had a call from our 7yr olds teacher today. She wants to set up zoom to hear the kids read, she still wants to interact with 'her' kids.
Well I have very slow computer internet, can't load pictures and forget videos. It usually goes out for a week or so at least twice a year. Too far from the router they tell me.. Right now I can't even get the Yahoo email to load. I assume everyone is home using up the bandwidth before it gets to my house.
The cell is somewhat better, but if I drive to town it works perfectly.

I can't wait to try my own tomatoes because I'm someone who does not like tomatoes that are raw so I'm hoping doing my own I will be able to eat raw tomatoes

I will know more on what is going on here after our meeting with the principal. Both of my kids are middle school. I am worried about my daughter's Algerbra 1, she has to take a test at the end of the year to show she knows the material. This class is a High School credit for her. If she doesn't pass the test then she has to retake it. I don't think she will have any problems she is an hournors student, but with this i am a little worried. She plans on starting bio med classes and AP classes next year, then her senior year she is planing on doing allied health which she would ba a Certified Nursing Assistant right out of high School. She needs this class to get things dones and have enought credits to do everything she wants to do..

I was like that too and I also HATED cucumbers but trust me, homegrown is soooooo much better!!!!! There is absolutely NO flavor in store tomatoes or cucumbers. The difference is astounding. My mom tried a cucumber last year and was soooo shocked and how much flavor it had LOL she didn’t realize they could have flavor 😂🙈 neither did I lol

And I know the conversation wasn’t about cucumbers but that’s just another one that has no flavor in stores and that I was totally surprised by.

Trust me, you’ll be amazed.

That said, I still wouldn’t say I LOVE raw tomatoes or cucumbers but I’m not a big veggie person in general and I definitely like them a lot more than store bough.

Store bought produce generally has traveled far, and taken more time to arrive at your grocery. So, 'ships well' is the most important factor in varieties chosen by commercial growers.
Home growers can select for flavor first instead, and it makes all the difference!

That makes sense!!
