There is no better time than this to point out the mistakes that have been and are being made in real time that are killing people. Knowledge is power

You do have a point. Knowledge is power. But there are millions and millions of people in the world that can't absorb the information now and the mistakes that have been made would just cause anxiety . We never never imagined something like this happening so IMO its hard to see mistakes when their is no protocol covering deadly viral pandemic that kills many world wide, but very easy to point out what is assumed by some to be wrong. IMO

Two days ago there were only 45000 people tested. Today 2000 people are tested positive. India lags far behind in tests.
Thank you for posting!!!

I've been VERY curious how things are going in places like India and areas of Mexico / South America.

I read this article the other day and it made me sad and worried. These poor people's daily lives are already so difficult... I can't even imagine what would happen as this virus were to spread through those areas!

I just have to say something here.
Pandemics happen, and effectively reacting to them is something that has had plans in place for a long time. Anyone with any training in public health or medicine isn't ignorant about this. What enrages me is how all this knowledge and preparation has been ignored and not adopted in a timely fashion! Being in company with other places who also didn't act appropriately in time doesn't make me feel better!

We finally have a case in our county, makes going to work all that much more scary. While its a large county there is only my town and one other 60 miles from us. Each has a small population of about 2200 people or so. I heard that the person came through our drive through testing, so most likely its in my town.

Our county had 4 cases when we arrived at hospital 2 days ago, now its up to 14. Baby was born and we're about to get outta here. Today we saw more masks on nurses and drs. Hospital has been on lockdown for 2 weeks now so theyve been very proactive. DR gave us a headsup and said our city might make it mandatory for anyone in public to wear a mask and we will peak in 2-3 weeks here. She also said she didnt know where the public could even get masks 😷🤔🤒

20 million Indians died during Spanish flu pandemic. Back then population of India was like 1/5th of what it is today.

Yes of course. It's freezing during the night now. So most of them prefer a bed inside. The homeless get free meals, a shower, and a safer place to spend the night.

Many shelters are not all that safe. They do not have lockers where you can secure your stuff to keep it from being stolen. I don't know how they are now, with Covid-19 going on, but in the past, you had to be in by 9 pm and out by 6 am. They are not like a nice comfy motel with privacy. It's not like having a home. So when you leave at 6 am, where do you go? You've left your spot on the street, your turf, and somebody else has claimed it. Now you have to find a new place. Not only are you still homeless, but you've given up the only patch you had. Nobody chooses to be homeless. They're just doing the best they can. It's survival.

Love that show. I'm about ready to start up forging myself. DW's cousin lives in Montana has been forging a long time.
His website, pretty sure its not active anymore think he does it all on FB now. Pretty nice blades though.
And actually there is a YouTube vid on his site of him picking guitar and singing, reminds me of John Denver.

We have a big old antique coal forge here on the property we'd love to find a home for (sell!), I think it's over 2' across, very heavy. You could forge a sword on it, lol. Can you have him put the word out? Pm me maybe and I will send you pics to send him maybe?
