I usually don’t wear one (I do wear a coat or something though if I do that lol) or if I must, I just guess. 😂🙈
O m g.
Kelsey!

I just realized how this potentially sounded and I should clarify I DO wear clothes 😂🙈

@Kiki is gonna make everyone think I don’t smh. 😂🤦‍♀️

I just meant I sometimes wear a coat over the shirt not instead of one 😂😂😂

OMG :th

Please let the record state that I AM a full time clothes wearer. 😂

Pretty sure it was more at no one ever teaching you how to.properly size undergarments. :hugs

No one taught me either. I had to ask a lady at the store how to measure and what the numbers and letters meant.

BUT!!! Making it with different color inside means INSIDE IS INSIDE and no oopsies of a dirty mask touching a face.

This is similar but again USE DIFFERENT COLORS.
I am using 100% white inside on mine.

I have never heard a cross word toward a Juki.
My little one is a Singer and it can barely sew through 2 layers of cotton. Even then it is prone to birdnesting.

The fit of the ones I am making is MUCH better than the pleated ones.
It fits very similar to the videos I linked up there...∆∆
The sides do not gap. I used the pattern from the flamingo one above.

I am still working on a wire for the nose even though they are already pretty close.

Edited to add.....in the video her elastic is WAY to loose. I shortened it to 6" for my (non fluffy) face and 7" for hubs.
Thank you!

I LOVE my Juki. Complete workhorse and all metal inside. No plastic gears inside and she sews like a dream. (I have the TL 2010Q) Jukis are the garment industry standard and I've seen the industrial types ones...stinkin' awesome.
I started off with the little ones that struggled with two basic layers of cotton. Those elicit much cursing and pirate language from me... even before the birdnesting.

For the noses I am using 6 inches of craft pipe cleaners. I don't make the little pocket ahead of time...just stick it between the layers and divert right around it when top stitching the edges. Saves time on the extra step.

:lau :lau :gig:lol::clap Sure you are;)

@Kiki
Here's the search result. When I click on 5050c it goes to the 5040 manual. Typical Singer...they like to include several models into one book.

The really vintage and antique Singers are even worse. One manual is for three totally different machines! (I restore the old black models of Singers)
