I took a BS sewing class in 7th grade.

I know I passed the class but I don't remember much else.
I didn't grow up with a sewing person in my house and my grandma lived in another state. ☹
You're not alone.
I learned after kiddo was born and am completely self taught. Took me a few years to gain quality skills but I have a quilting business now.
Or rather I did before the 💩 hit the fan...and I can fix and restore machines that once scared the daylights out of me plus I can fix some modern machines including re-timing my longarm quilting machine.

Wow, I'm 5' exactly. Or I was before I got old. I have to have step ladders just to reach the second shelf in my kitchen cabinets! I'll never reveal my weight, never, don't ask! :p
:highfive:
Shorties of the world unite!!
Me too! I have ladders and step stools hidden all over the house!
I cannot imagine needing step stools and ladders to reach my cabinets. :th

I can even reach the one above the fridge. :D

Though I do have to stand on my top toes 😂🙈

Your right for the most part on the grade A and B, but more to it. Yes grade A is more the fluid milk, grade B cheaper and for cheese etc but it is actually a little more complex than that and doesn't make much sense other than driving the price down for the farmer giving the dairy plants cheaper priced milk. Does make sense in a way dirtier milk, farmers that do not make sure they have a clean process get punished for the bacteria in their milk with lower pay, gives a incentive to do better. We are a grade A milk plant that makes cottage cheese and sour cream. What makes us grade A and we take grade A and B milk, is we check for bacteria every load. State only requires antibiotic test, all dairy is antibiotic free and checking for antibiotics is the only state requirement (reason is some people allergic can kill them).
We can actually take in grade B, test it, run it through our pump load it on another trailer, magically becomes grade A sold to another plant :hmm
I test thousands of loads a yr and it is very rare to ever see any 'bugs' in the milk, like mostly never. Been several yrs since I've rejected milk for bacteria.
Blah blah blah sometimes I talk too much 😆
No, all good points.
My knowledge is on the farm side of it. As in what set up it takes to be a grade A or B dairy farm. The set ups are different... holding facilities, plumbing structures and even the requirements of the farm driveway material are different.
I'm kinda shocked that you can run the B milk through the filters and pump and make it grade A milk. That totally sidesteps the procedures on the farm that the milk comes from. 🤔

An extensive search for elastic netted zero found anywhere. Even looking for wide elastic so I could cut it into strips nada, zero, none. I think it and TP were on the same truck.....

The best idea I found for removable wire was using bias tape to make a pocket open on one end.......I bookmarked that video......

Good idea, thank you!

Yeah, no elastic anywhere on planet earth. Along with TP.

Meanwhile I keep a step stool downstairs for kitchen/pantry and one upstairs in the closet. Without those, I can't even reach the back of the snack shelf in the pantry (which is kind of smart in a way ) or some of my accessories in the closet. Hubby stands 11" taller than me and annoyingly tends to put stuff where HE can reach them.

Tell us another story.
I love hearing about your work.
:lau
Yrs ago younger days worked at a roof truss factory, super hard fast pace work but it was great because of the people I worked with we had fun with it.
Never forget one time I was at a party sucking down adult beverages and a guy I worked with stopped by, I started talking about work, he says "dude we live that every day, I don't want to hear anything about that place right now" I've avoid talking about work ever since lol.
Haven't seen him in yrs ran into him a few weeks back at a grocery store in line, he says I hope you weren't looking for toilet paper, no just bread, he says seeded rye might be good little more scrubbing action :lau
