Ok, I realize that's not saying very much.....
But yeah. This is not me, but this person is taller than me and you can see her compared to the machine (a 1/4 of her, the backside, is missing from the pic too), which is sitting on a 12' long table. True longarms are big machines that move freely over a quilt that is stretched onto a quilting frame.

Way to go!

I've been doing more in the garden than I've done in years of knee surgeries and wrist surgery. I'm thrilled with the amount of neglect I've been able to work my way through.

All the fresh veggies and pretty plants will be worth it! I used to hate digging and planting but when all the delicious vegetables grew I was like 'hey, this was worth it' nothing beats a home grown veggie!

It's a little different at my house. But the time things would be ready to pick the creatures and heat have already gotten to them. But when the first seedlings go in and the first seeds poke out and the bounty is all in my imagination it's intoxicating!

We do get excited too, though, with the few things I can bring in and cook.

Anyway, I just can't give it up because when I was little my grandfather used to give me the tiny veggies he was thinning and I thought that was the coolest thing EVER!

It's a gorgeous day, had to get out of the house for a bit even if it's just my backyard. Relaxing while the little ones metal detect. My youngest found a 1958 wheat penny in the pasture, so he thinks he's hit the jackpot.

Oh good!! Easy to disarm!!!

Another hospital here is requesting recovered documented positive Covid people to donate plasma so they can inject it into seriously ill patients. I've lost track of all the studies that are taking place here in Houston already.

I got a ginormous egg yesterday and finally weighed it and ate it today. It maxed the egg scale out, firmly in the XL category by a long shot, but oddly was not a double yolker.

But the thing was HUGE

Only needed one egg for breakfast.
