I saw a four pack of angel soft TP but I don't need any and for 6$ that is way too pricey!
I've been on the hunt for paper towels for like 2 weeks. Na da. Zilch. When you have 3 kids(2 being pretty slobby) you need paper towels!

My Home Depot had 24 packs of Charmin available... I didn't look for paper towels but that's a possible source that people aren't aware of.

An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind. That person might just be trying to feed their own family. Society has always found ways to come together and survive - not through harsh and rugged individualism but through community and support. If we reach the point where that's no longer possible you're more likely to be the person stealing food than the person with resources.

The fact that you sit and theorize and imagine a world where you need to shoot randos makes me glad that the people I live around imagine a world of support and love instead. It's going to pay off way better for us in the long run to share resources and support than to try to hoard them. And history supports that position.

In situations where resources were pooled everyone had something to contribute. If you have nothing I need in that type of situation I would turn you away. If you're stealing then how would I ever be able to trust you? If I give you food today, how could I trust you not to bring back your 12 friends tomorrow? If I suddenly say no, I can't help you? People are murdered every day for far less. If there were less police to handle crimes then I can definitely see some places getting out of hand for a minute.

I see nothing of nutritional value in his cart either, except maybe some fruit cups.... he's looking at pork rinds, has lunchables, ice cream and snickers in his cart! Is that jacket/outfit supposed to help with social distancing?

I wanted to ask him where he got the jacket do bad but I didn't want to get out of line. I was in a hurry.

And eat what you grow! Or donate it. Or... I dunno, feed it to the animals.

We did end up giving quite a bit to the chickens we just also had a bit of bumper crop last year lol got waaaaaaayyyyyyyy more than we could eat or keep up with. That said, no one really tried to either.

Grow them as a seed crop to save seeds for next year. (OP varieties only, mind you, but still...)

More like some of the folks here are WAY more comfortable talking about literally killing people in times of emergency that are also just trying to survive (Since the discussion was what if there's no food and people want your chickens) than they are acknowledging that racism exists and thinking about how to confront it. As in, literally killing living humans is more of a children-appropriate topic than racism is. And that's deeply disturbing IMO.

Well if someone came up and asked for food, I would gladly give them eggs. But I don't expect to be held up at gun point.

That’s so cute!!!

Luna doesn’t drool but has a weird little purr lol

She’s technically gray and white but the lights were off lol pretty dark grey though. She used to be more medium gray.
