Also, tell me if this is just in my area- after everyone here started staying at home, the amount of turkey vultures exploded. I see huge amounts of them every day now! Other people have noticed this too, so it’s not just me. Is that a random western Massachusetts thing or is that more widespread? I’ve also noticed an abundance of other wildlife. :wee

That's how I store mine too. Each type of seed gets their own bag.
How did we ever survive without zippy bags?? :gig

I have no idea!!! Mason jars maybe....

Lots more "critters" here too.

I mean if they're golfing by themselves then that would be fine, but usually they are not golfing by themselves.

I just think that people really need to take into consideration that if we all stayed isolated, we could really do our part with this virus. People going out and doing whatever they want isn't going to help.
They still have to maintain social distancing. If they're separate households they must use separate golf carts, no sharing period.

I get the social distancing, I really do. I'm not leaving except to get groceries or take my dogs for a walk, maybe a bike ride once in a while. The Southwest is not like the East though. We don't have many apartment buildings taller than 2 stories, most of the cities aren't as densely populated and we are very spread out.

I never even thought of vacuum sealing haha such a good idea. Although if they’re in those foil type pouches they’d probably be fine as is.

And I never went by and specific rules with my lettuce, just when it looked big enough haha

I forget which lettuce I grew year before last (forgot last year but had one volunteer) but it was good.
I have no idea what I'm supposed to cut the lettuce but ever since I put it in the pot then I'm growing it in, it has grown insanely huge.

I'm using those cloth-like pots that you can buy on Amazon and they are amazing because they have a lot of airflow.

I think the turkey vultures don't have as much roadkills so they have to look more

People have been saying they see more wildlife in public areas.. which are now empty of people

Yeah it looks like mostly all the huge cities are where the virus has hit hard.

I'm on the East coast, but I am in the country so I am pretty isolated from the city. If I drive about 30 minutes I get to where there are a lot of stores and restaurants and such, but where I live it's pretty quiet.

I think we only have about four people that have been diagnosed with the virus.
