I am sorry, I did not mean to upset or offend or anything. :hugs

That must be truly awful and I really do feel for you!!! :hugs :hugs :hugs

Btw, I was not trying to complain so sorry if it came across that way  :hugs

I actually have not worn a mask in a long time and haven’t been looking or gone anywhere recently but I just remember wearing one of the super thick/heavy construction type ones a long time ago while cleaning the chicken coop so that was what I was referring to when I said it was a little hard to breathe, not just walking around a store, but even that I’m sure is nothing compared to what you have to deal with daily. :hugs

At least I got the option to take it off. :hugs

Thank you for what you do and I hope it will go back to normal soon and you can stop wearing the masks!! :hugs

I have some family friends that are nurses and it is hard work so thank you!!! :hugs

Not just the mask but being on your feet all day. :bow :th :hugs

No I'm sorry, I'm just tired and frustrated with this all In general and I guess it just hit that exhausted nerve and I needed to vent. :hugs :hugs
You do know just how hard it is to breath in on of those while working. The more you exert yourself the harder it is to breath. It really does suck!
While I am not a nurse, I work in the dietary dept (so lets add on 90 degree temps) I appreciate your thoughts. My prayers are with your family who are even more on the front lines. :hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs

WHAT! You went and got your cholesterol levels and sugar stuff checked and didn't tell me.

Girlfriend...you think you are healthy. You have no clue.
I actually did!!! Hahah I had my physical like a month ago now. But I still haven’t gotten the results back. :( 🤔

I do remember I had good blood pressure though haha

But I haven’t gotten the blood test results back and it’s usually super fast.

Anyway, yeah, I can’t know for sure without tests and stuff, but my point was I’m healthy enough that I don’t think all those vitamins are necessary. And I’m not dying. :lau

I would at least be able to tell that even without tests I would think.
Are you sniffing hand sanitizer? I don't see where it says she had tests run.....
:lau I think she was saying unless I got tested I don’t know I’m healthy lol
She didn't say.
I'm giving her a hard time...again.

Last year or the year before I think she mentioned being prediabetic.

She hadn't gone to get tested...is my point.
She doesn't know for sure.
I think I mentioned it again a couple months ago haha

The actual test was done like 3-4 ?? Years ago now I think? 😂🙈 maybe not that long ago. Idk. I think it was 2017 but it might have been 2018.

And yeah true but even diabetes or blood pressure wouldn’t affect vitamins?

I do recall reading that........yes testing is needed....just maybe AFTER the world straightens out....a lot.
Type 2 Diabetes is no fun and caught early is treatable/reversible.

I haven’t worn one out but I also haven’t been out in a few weeks haha

When you DO go out wear a dadgum face cover for real! When you DO wear one don't fiddle with it. Wear it, get the errands done, take it off, fold outside to outside and toss or stick in a zippy bag for laundering then wash your hands immediately. Use a disinfecting wipe to wipe the outside of the zippy bag too.

At least that is what we are doing here.

It’s okay!!! Don’t apologize!!! :hugs :hugs

I completely understand the need to vent. Done it myself many times. Vent anytime!!! :hugs :hugs :hugs

Yes it is definitely very hard to breathe while working!! Especially in the heat!!! I feel for you. :hugs

They don’t have air conditioners or anything for you guys!?

And thank you!!! :hugs

They’re ICU I think & in Boston so they’ve seen a lot of Corona patients.

Well all 3:30am comes way to early, for perspective it's 8:30pm here. But work calls, patients need to be fed and taken care of, sweet dreams my friends and please stay safe! :hugs :hugs :hugs
Even more respect for you now!! Dang that’s early!! :hugs

For comparison, that’s when I usually go to bed :lau

Yeah, probably won’t be able to get tested for a while... which sucks because somebody else had said I should get my thyroid tested so I want to do that too. Have a lot of the symptoms. :lau

I hope I don’t have diabetes or thyroid issues though. :fl

And that’s a good idea!! Thanks!! I’ve just been trying to stay home. Did take my mom to work a few days ago but stayed in the car the whole tome and came straight home.

Try working in a surgical mask for 9 hrs a day, all the while being semi allergic to whatever they are made of. When I mean working, I mean actually exert yourself, then let me know how you feel about wearing them.
I work at the hospital and have no choice in the matter, we are not allowed to wear the homemade ones. My face has bumps some of which I have scratched until they have bled.

I would give anything to be able to wear a soft cotton homemade mask to go shopping in. But I can't and even when I am home and around my husband I have to wear that nasty mask to protect him.
So to all those complaining you can't get surgical masks, Be happy you don't really need them or have to wear them while you work.
I get to do that as well. Wearing a N95 all day 9hr constantly walking. I feel for the ones that had to do it since the start. It restricts airflow. You cant really tell until you start exerting yourself then you can tell. And other issues like the mask being kinda fuzzy and itching you nose and you cant touch the mask or face so you basically have to endure having to itch.

I see......
For real prediabetic should be something with follow up checks and diet modifications....
