Yeah, I never, hardly ever go to a doctor, and I have good health ins.I wonder if the male-heavy skew is due to something physical or more of an attitude characteristic. I honestly don't mean that as a criticism of men. I just notice that the fellas in my family tend to "tough it out" longer than the women. If we encourage our brothers, dads, sons, etc., to contact their doctors earlier, it may help their survival rate. Again, its's not meant as criticism of menfolk. It's just an observation offering some hope for keeping y'all around longer!

Few times I have been sick I just wait it out.
Had a bad infection in a finger I nicked processing turkeys this winter. Went to work anyway. Took quality supervisor at work (big tough retired Marine corp sergeant) to convince me to go to the ER.
First time I've been on antibiotics in my life.
