You have to dry the seeds first I believe. I usually just buy seed packets or started plants. Pretty cheap usually. Last year I lucked out and found some started jalapeños at a local store. :)

I personally grow my peppers in pots. I find that they do way better than they do in the ground for some reason.

My tomatoes on the other hand did horribly in pots last time I tried it lol but the peppers thrived.

So yeah.
OH, I have the perfect place to grow the peppers. I have four citrus crates they use in the orchards in Central Valley. 6ftx6ft boxes.:D

I have some peppers, but do I plant their seeds, or what?

I start with packaged seeds. I use seed starting soil and solo cups under my grow lights. I do not plant in ground. I use giant pots (1/2 barrel planters) and 3 plants to the pot. They hate getting chilled and the soil here is not warm or loose enough. Pots stay warm.
No harm in trying from fresh seeds.

Yes to the pots here too. The ground is not warm enough.

I don’t think I’ve ever had Sriracha or Tabasco

Wait, what!?!?

Kelsey what exactly do you eat? Your menu needs a makeover!
Ummmm..... let’s see..... peanut butter and jelly, toast, grilled cheese, crackers, eggs, pancakes, French toast, cheese, sandwiches, lots of peanut butter, sometimes spinach if we have it, protein powder, vitamins, tea....

I don’t like cooking usually or vegetables. :lau

I also forget to eat then get starving and eat something fast/easy :lau

Hence my PB&J dinner at 9

I do also love meatloaf, pasta, pizza, steak. etc. though and chicken dishes like chicken broccoli and ziti or chicken and sautéed vegetables or whatever but no one here really cooks that often and I don’t either and even if we did we’re all on different schedules so

We did cook a ham a few days ago so I ate that a lot but now we’re out. And actually we still have leftover prime rib from yesterday but I didn’t feel like prime rib today so had the PB&J

I will keep "politics" out of my post...... can't think of anything to say ... how does it affect my life? ... the plan-demic ? the great depression 2, now rightly called a megadepression? Most likely it shortened it. Probably dramatically, like many I know. Micro/Molecular biologist here with tons of virology/pcr/cloning experience, and I know corona will always be a very common very mild flu.

If this is too political go ahead and remove my post, sorry...no big deal.
