Same here. We have 3.5 acres and have been hammered by DW and kids for horse's..no.. Not enough IMHO, hope to move someday with more land and then maybe. I don't even want a horse, they do. I'd be happy with a donkey

Yeah, we have about 2.5 and the yard is huge and I’ve imagined having a couple of horses, goats, and/or sheep grazing on it but I don’t think it’s enough. But then I tell myself people keep horses in tiny little areas and there’s people in town with wayyyy less land than we do and basically just a mud pit that have horses so then I think a nice big huge yard to hang out in really isn’t that bad

But they’re super expensive too and no way I could convince my dad to build a barn or even a shed so it’s a no go

You probably have the room for one or two

But then you gotta feed more hay or feed so I get it.

Nice!! I’m growing a ton of different stuff this year. Way more than usual and way more than last year (and I thought I had a lot then lol). 5 different kinds of peppers (well, 2 are basically the same thing), 5 different kinds of tomatoes, 2 types of eggplants, 2 types of peas, green beans, 3 types of onions, garlic, 4 kinds of potatoes, 6 kinds of greens (4 types of lettuce plus Swiss chard and spinach.... not that type of green LOL), 2 kinds of carrots, 2 types of beets, plus summer squash, zucchini, and cucumbers, and possibly 3 kinds of melon.

And I am so jealous of your awesome setup.

For real it is a shelf unit with 3' fluorescent lights. The no no kitty cage is because the cat LOVES to eat my hot peppers down to the dirt.
It is simple but effective.

Ummmm..... let’s see..... peanut butter and jelly, toast, grilled cheese, crackers, eggs, pancakes, French toast, cheese, sandwiches, lots of peanut butter, sometimes spinach if we have it, protein powder, vitamins, tea....

I don’t like cooking usually or vegetables.

I also forget to eat then get starving and eat something fast/easy

That’s amazing!!! Luna loves to lay on the seedling trays because of the warm heat mat LOL I need something like this!!! Are they special plant grow lights or just regular fluorescent lights?

There was something about full spectrum bulbs......I have had those for a few years now so don't remember exactly. The fixtures are standard fixtures. Getting 3' is challenging....4' is more common.

I know. I’ve been trying to change it lately though!! And it’s not always so terrible. just lately it’s been awful lol I also forgot sometimes it’s just pie or junk and no dinner.

But I’ve been trying to eat a lot more veggies lately. Although now they’ve all gone bad cause I stopped eating them

We had a few veggie trays I was trying to eat from for a while and felt better doing that but then I stopped eating them and now they’re bad. Thankfully I ate most of them though.

But yeah sometimes I just forget to eat dinner and have toast with butter and jelly and crackers with peanut butter for the protein late at night.

Sometimes I have tuna or beans too. I forgot to add those.

But yeah, I eat way too much bread and toast and jelly
