They just had a thing on my news about gardening. Apparently there’s a lot more interest in it lately and a lot of seeds have sold out places and hard to find them and some community gardens and local gardening organizations have had a lot more interest/calls and stuff. I already knew about the seeds cause I’ve seen it myself but found it interesting. Also didn’t realize the city had so many community gardens. :love I’m glad people are more interested in growing their own food. :love

There’s was another thing on about a firefighter that has COVID and is quarantining at some dorms.

They also apparently just announced today they’re sending out 200,000 first responder respirators to police and firefighters (or maybe first responders?) across the state so that’s neat.

And they’re considering sending kids back to school even if just for a few days to do competency tests and check in with the kids and assess where the achievement gaps and stuff are for next year, etc. but I think it’s a stupid idea. Teachers want it, governor hasn’t made a decision yet.

159 new deaths today too apparently. Cases still climbing.

Some towns have curfews now too and they had a thing saying to tell people not to try to run the marathon course Monday too hah the original date was Monday but now it’s moved to September but they don’t want people trying to run the course. Boston Marathon that is.

It’s sad to me that some patients at hospitals also can’t have visitors now and die alone. 😭 this one nurse started this project though, Pictures For Patients, and is printing and delivering pictures of loved ones to patients. 😭 she also sat with this one woman for like her entire shift and kept her company cause she knew she was dying and wouldn’t make it out of the ER and she later died right after her shift. 😭

The entire news is Coronavirus related. :th

Sorry this is so long, was watching and posting the good stuff :lau

They just had this other thing on where this girl’s parents organized a parade thing for her like people came to congratulate her cause she couldn’t have a graduation and it was really sweet 😭 she just graduated from med school and was kind of upset about no graduation so that was sweet.

But the real cool story was this 13 year old that started giving lunches to homeless people and now it’s this big thing and he also writes kind messages on the bags and it was so sweet 😭😍 he’s turned into kind of a like a local hero aha

We had snow all day, and it was too warm to stay on the ground. Pretty falling, and nothing to shovel, a win all around!
I'm glad to not be working in a hospital, and so grateful to all the wonderful and brave people who are there every day! :hugs

Yeah, I think it will probably be mostly rain with some snow. Think it’s only predicted to be maybe an inch but idk if it will even be that. Some areas it said up to 3 but I don’t think it will be near that ha it’s too bad it’s at night though so I can’t see it falling 😭

And agreed!!!! :love

I just have to say theme music of NCIS New Orleans. 😂🤣🙈

It’s so fun.

Random, I know, but I’m watching it now so thought of it. 😂🤣

https://www.seattletimes.com/seattl...a-man-lets-loose-from-his-lawn-every-weekday/ - I guess that's one way to pass the time while social distancing.

My NYC pal said her positive tested cousin and his family are still doing pretty well so hoping they can avoid hospitalization completely. I didn't realize just how massive NY's numbers were compared to WA's... she said this is the second day that they've had less than 700 deaths, whereas my state's had less than 700 total. :(
