My wife has a friend that has a small farm she tried to give to the food bank here called 3 times no return call. And it seems like they're wanting people to donate but the parameters are so narrow it's like you're begging to give them food. Reminds me of animal shelters around here. They're are so many hoops to jump through people say screw it.
Imo it's pretty frickin sad when farmers are dumping crops but its the red tape that keeps people hungry at the same time.
